I've found on my old 2003 Intrepid, my wife's 2001 RX300 and my 97 LX450, the light coming on will give you 75 mile range. Formula works even with the varied tank sizes and fuel economy. Just my .02.

Interesting, because my 2008 FJ Cruiser would go 75 miles once the light came on.
But on the other hand my old Challenger and current Charger only get me about 30 miles before sputtering out...

Interestingly the LC ranges from 54-99 miles as someone stated previously.

If you're low on brake fluid your cruise control wont turn on?

Someone feel free to validate or repute, but I was low on fluid (brake light on) and my CC wouldn't turn on. I added fluid and then *presto* CC was functional again.

Could be CC wont work if the brake light is lit for any reason?

But this doesn't include the ABS system, right? I have constant ABS light/fault due to me not putting on the tone rings when I installed chromoly axles/birfs.

My Cruise Control works just fine.

Your picture shows the rear carpet, not the rear mat. There is a separate rear mat which goes over the carpet shown

Not quite. The rectangular piece shown just in front of the rear carpet is a third row mat for 93-94 models. 95-up had a cargo mat that covered the whole area.

Yep, I was referring to the small rectangular carpet pictured between the 2nd row and the rear carpet. @cruiserdan clarified that that is only found in 93-94 models, thanks Dan! Mine is a ‘96 so I’ve never seen the small 3rd row carpet, just the big cargo carpet.

I guess you can add the screws are JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) and not American phillips heads. If you haven't used a JIS screwdriver yet you are in for a treat when working on a Land Cruiser.

Just bought a set of vessel 1, 2, 2 and 3 screwdrivers. Def see a need for it on the 80. No more clumsy Phillips.

did you know the hated 3fe is the best 80 ive ever had big betty is bullet proof and she is treated like a red headed step child
