I need to sell my rig first, or trade. (?) Any diesels would need to have a CA title at this point. :( I'm not in a position to play tag with the CHP, DMV, BAR people.
OK, I have a potential buyer. Shoot me an email.

It doesn't have a month/year on the vin plate but it is a Feb '78. It's kind of early in that it doesn't have legs on the jump seats which came in a later month in '78.

It also doesn't have those ultra cool defrost tubes on the dash. You know, full disclosure and all....

I bought this '78 (10/77) from Riley (jetranger) last August.

Bump for a temporary price reduction. I'll probably bring it in to a shop. Probably not fixing this one myself.

I broke one stud off of the EGR manifold connector. It's going to be a PITA to fix, but I will get it fixed. If someone wants to fix it, I'm effectively offering a $1k bounty to drill and tap the manifold in a very awkward place.

The EGR leaked a bit here before, smelling things up. It's a bit worse now, but still driveable with the windows down.

As of July 2020: fixed.

@Adamcbad you should look at this one
@upperblack ive actually been keeping my eye on this one from the begining...May need more work than I know how or can afford to do. Hesitant to get anything newer than a ‘75 in California too

Not much argument, other than this one has all the parts and a rebuilt carby by Mark's Offroad. It passes every time.

How has this thing not sold yet?!
