Headlights are nothing but the finest NAPA replacement bulbs available…:rofl:

No single source vendor on the suspension parts. I just shopped around until I found the best deal on the separate parts.

Leafs are OME and as I recall, are something like 2 1/4” or 2 1/2”inch over stock. 3/4” over stock greasible anti inversion shackles round out the leaf spring kit. Shocks are Bilstein 5100 series. Bushings are OME as well.
Steering damper is a Tough Dog RTC.

Who's fog lights (I should have been more specific.) I saw that KC is doing "vintage" lights now.

Purchased the lights from a YOTA dealer in Indiana. Still available. If you look around you can find them priced from the absurd to reasonable. The mounts were on the Mule when I bought it. They are aftermarket but worthy.

Finally caught up... shotgun rack still not sorted...

That said, this truck has turned out gorgeous. I can't get over how in some pictures its brown, in some it's chocolate, in some it's black... simply stunning work.

All the little doo-dad work is awfully gratifying on a truck this well sorted.

Need more photos.

Thank you.

On any given day, it is a Mule of a different color. The paint work is incredibly nice. Not bragging, just giving credit to the guys in the booth. The prep work, material(s) and final product speak to their hard work.

There is some Ph II work coming up this fall. 2.0 may be leaving the Land of Nod for a more southern clime late winter 25 to take up the salt life. Perfect for the aluminum bodied Transformation.

Shotgun rack is in the “spit in the dirt and draw with a stick” phase. Proof of concept sometime mid Decemberish.

Senility knows no bounds.

@Chungas Revenge
Eager to see what/where exactly you mean.

2.0 may be taking up residence in north Florida (Atlantic coast). We have a piece of property North of Jacksonville. I promised Ms Revenge years ago, once I retired and was no longer tethered to any particular obligations in the land of Nod, we would start spending time there.

Now, of all things, she has the nerve to hold me to that promise…So, 2.0 and I may take up the “Salt Life” on Amelia Island for part of the year. I’ve fished out of there a few times and there’s a clay range just off the Island so a potential move does have a high water mark.

While not 100% etched in stone (yet), the probability one old Mule and one old goat will be making a trip south is almost certain.

@Chungas Revenge ….TY…beautiful.
Now my solution to your relocation dilemma. Assuming you’re keeping 2 locations, Mule 2.0 should stay put.
Then have @wngrog whip you up a patina rig that is mechanically rock solid for the coast.
Then tell princess it was my idea. 😉

Funny you should mention “Patina Rig”. 😎

Kinda’ looking around for something with a 1.0 ruff around the edges vib (not too ruff) to keep here in the land of NOD for hunting, hauling, camping and all other assigned duties.

Just kicking the can in the event 2.0 makes the move.

@Catching Neutral certainly brings up a valid point. We too live on the coast. No doubt, it is a corrosive environment and far from ideal for the longevity of our beloved rigs. But a countervailing argument can be made that we should be able to enjoy driving these trucks as long as we are able. Some common sense preventive care goes a long way such as frequent washes including the undercarriage, copious applications of fluid film. Mule V.2 has the added advantage of having an aluminum tub which will benefit it greatly. ;)

I do not disagree @Green Bean with that rational. I told my wife at one point that I would not own another 40 while living so close to the coast. But I ultimately missed driving and wrenching on one so much that I jumped back in.
My 40 has patina and I don’t have to worry about it. However if it was a nice as the Mule 2.0 then it would be a different story.

Seriously …I live on the coast. I would keep the Mule 2.0 away from the coast.

Low country life does present some challenges. “Fresh water wash downs” are frequent and necessary. And to be perfectly honest, it’s still a 50/50 proposition.

I grew up in south Miami in the late 1960’s and we fished almost every day from Coral Gables. With a shrimp and hook, you could catch red snapper, yellow tail, groupers and almost any fish from 1lb to 200 lbs. My cousin lived on the water and it was an after school thing for years

Haven’t bathed the Mule yet.

I picked up this detail spray sometime after 2.0 made it back to the Land of Nod. Applied, then wiped down with a 3M microfiber cloth. Seems to be working nicely.

Drove 2.0 to the gym this AM and stopped in at the local YOTA dealer afterwards. While kicking the tires on a Tundra, I noticed that the entire sales/admin staff had formed a semi circle around 2.0. 1/2 hour discussion ensued. The owners son has a 82 Dune Beige sitting in the showroom. Originally sold new by his father and traded in sometime during the late 80’s. As far as I know it’s taken up permanent residence on the show room floor. I’m going to stop by again this afternoon and take a couple pics.

@Chungas Revenge. Thats pretty cool…stand back and take a picture of the crowd. I was going to take my pumpkin color 45 to the local Toyota dealer to pick up a few gaskets and see if a crowd would ensue. THEN, when I’m too old to keep driving it, trade it in on something my kid or grandson wants. My problem is. There is no way those SOB’s cough up enough to make it worth it for a show room display…I do not have the temperament to deal with car dealers. I have bought loads of cars in my day and have always walked away feeling like I’ve been f***ed by a ……well, you know
