@Chungas Revenge. Thats pretty cool…stand back and take a picture of the crowd. I was going to take my pumpkin color 45 to the local Toyota dealer to pick up a few gaskets and see if a crowd would ensue. THEN, when I’m too old to keep driving it, trade it in on something my kid or grandson wants. My problem is. There is no way those SOB’s cough up enough to make it worth it for a show room display…I do not have the temperament to deal with car dealers. I have bought loads of cars in my day and have always walked away feeling like I’ve been f***ed by a ……well, you know

The owners son is a year younger than I am. At one point, he asked me what I though his 82 was worth. I gave him what I thought was an apt answer. I told him “It’s worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it”.
I’ve only seen two other 40 series LC’s here in the land of Nod. One on the great WESVACO hunting expedition of “73” and this Dune Beige 82.
That’s a nice “pumkin”. It’s a strange and finicky market right now. BAT seems to be all over the map sheet and EBay sellers need to put the Hooka pipe down before listing. I’m not sure what your markets like in NJ. I don’t do social media outside of MUD but, one of my motor head buddy’s swears by FB marketplace. You never know..
