Well that fizzled out all together…

Delivery pushed another week. But, I made it back in the Valley this PM. Tundra is cooling off in the driveway and it’s good to be home regardless. Got the chance to “re-engage” with some friends from down south. Nothing like a group of grizzled old pharts telling “There I was, this is no $hit” stories. I left behind a few unattended brain cells as proof of the engagement.

I’ll post up something new as soon as it breaks.

I’m quietly asking myself, WTH am I going to do with 2.0!!??. Options include either building a new sanctuary devoted to the care and feeding of a semi-sentient 4x4 or trade it for a small island in the Hebrides…

I mean, who doesn’t like Haggis???

Friend just bought a super low mileage ‘Vette. The previous owner parked it on carpet squares due to the tire being original. People due weird things- buy a sports car to park it…

As is often the case in my written meanderings, my humor doesn’t percolate to the top of the cup. Not that I wouldn’t like to have my own Island off the coast of Scotland and we already have a “sanctuary” of sorts that I’m sure Elvis would be proud to own.

2.0 has been nominated as the designated vehicle for the 2024 skeet season and the fall bird hunting vehicle of choice. Not sure I’ll be stuffing a Whitetail in the back but it will definitely see some hunting duty at the cabin.

Ms Revenge has laid claim to the “in between(s)” So I’m pretty sure It will probably come home smelling of nail polish and cucumber water on occasion.

I am however, at a fork in the road.

I had mentioned the clear bra earlier I think. It would make the paint nearly bullet proof. That said, with the aluminum body, even if you use it as is and scratch it up a bit it's unlikely your going to dent the aqualu unless you hit something hard.

It will fit in nicely at the shotgun range. Especially with a new Filson vest and a new Beretta 694 to kick off the season!
