1st COA was to try and work out the ripple in the rear cross member.

Sooo, off with the old. New crossmember is inbound. From Idaho to WV, the frame on the old beast held up well and is in pretty fair shape. Hit a decision point today, as you always do.

Rule #1 “No plan survives the first contact”. Had a meeting of the minds, initiated a new direction and a new course of action.

Dispatches to follow: 😎

Adding the disclaimer so the Gap/Fitment Gestapo wont rain down malfeasance and discontent on the Mule.

***Pictures displayed are for demonstration purposes only. They do not reflect a true representation of the final fit and finish, nor do they represent the quality and craftsmanship of the final assembly of the Mule 2.0. 😎

The Primary objectives were taken. The mock-up went as planned with one small pocket of resistance forming in the rear crossmember. This Op is moving forward..

I think it looks good as it is . Its going to look fantastic when all is done . Will last another 100 years

I like the “flat black”…!

The next paint sample should be the “one”…🍺

A 4plus tire carrier or 4x4 labs carrier would look pretty sweet to go with the new crossmember.

Spoke w/Dave viaemail about a carrier. It’s on the “like to have list”. There is a set of his side step/sliders and a set of fold down legs for t(e jump seats on the way. “Ms Revenge” like the carrier too..😉

Cool. Then too you don't have to drill holes in the body for the stock tire carrier.

I‘m just not sure yet. The carriers are awesome but, I like the stock look of the old metal carrier too.

@rkymtnflyfisher - I got the same carrier this week - still wrapped up - yeah I'm slow. Anyway - was going to ask you on your thread, but will here - how is your rear license plate attached? More specific - is that a light you have above it? Can't tell if your cooler has a bulge or the light fixture happens to match in color. Trying to figure out all I need before I cut over to the 4plus. Cheers and thx.
