Over the long weekend I was able to paint the underside and inside the tub. Raptor Black.

Paint on Bumpers, under hood and fenders. Don't have enough room to paint it all in one session. All that is left is Body, doors, tailgate, and windshield frame. Maybe get those done this weekend.

I sprayed it using Raptor's recommended Schultz Gun. It's almost like shooting fine drywall texture.

Installed the Cage into the body then lifted the body onto the frame. Then spent the rest of the time installing the body mounts.
Starting to look like a 40.
We need some updates.
What kind of paint is that? Kevlar? or Line X? Sorry if I missed it.

Wired the tail lights, back up lights to the transmission, turn signals, and fuel sending unit.
Connected the fuel fill to the fuel tank.

I'm using an EZwire, I have everything wired except the headlights and turn signals. I want to try and keep the original steering column so integrated the two isn't so easy.

You are doing an awesome job. It really looks nice. Question. How difficult was it to spray the liner into the tub? What did you do to protect the threaded bolt holes? I have my 73 sanded. I am planning on rolling in a couple of coats of rust bullet to treat the very minor rust spots and hopefully provide some protection for the entire tub. I was going to paint over the rust bullet with paint. After seeing yours I really like how it came out. Please let me know.
Baja, check out Black Star for rust cessation and protection. I used it on my Excurison underbody and was very happy.
