That plate in the top of the tunnel is brilliant. Very clean even without the Rhino.

Two levers gives you High and Lo 4 wheel drive and High and Low 2 wheel drive.

One possibility is to sew some leather or vinyl boots like a sports car.

Oh I see,

One step forward and two steps back.

Something else to add to my ever growing list.

What's that kit cost?

Thanks sggoat.
Saturday went to the parts yard to find some TailGate Latches. All I could find was off a 1980 Chevy C10. Was looking for Ford Ranger, thought they might be smaller.
Cut and fit my new tailgate. Removed the skin off the old swinging doors and fit them to the new frame.

Welded the skin on the outside of the tailgate

Made the back skin for the tailgate. Flattened the outside surface with some bondo and installed hinges.

Finished the tailgate hangers (don't know what else to call them) after work last night.

Tokamac, dig the tail gate, but back to the boots, could snoop around Mud a bit and find photos of the guys who did some boxing-in on their tranny tunnels at the transfer-case shift levers to create a flat surface for mounting boots??

Good idea, I'll look around. Thanks

Beautiful man! Love how you repurposed the factory tailgate.

Thanks 45,
Primed it last night. Should get the Latch handle stuff tonight.

Finally got the Tailgate finished. Mounted the rear bumper to start laying out the tire carrier.

Tokamak,

This is off subject, but what intank fuel pump are you running? I just removed my Confer Tank for the 3rd time. I decided to go internal instead external and in doing so purchased Downey's internal fuel pump kit.

While the tank is out I figured I would seal the inside with KBS Tank sealer kit.

No Worries.
I've seen some that are spring loaded to fit in different tank depths. Not sure if they use the same locking ring.

Built up my tire carrier and primed the roll cage this weekend
