My guess, your clutch is out of adjustment. You need to adjust pedal height, pedal freeplay and then clutch rod adjustment per the fsm.
Yes, I agree and have considered that as well. My pedal does indicate that could be the case. However, if that was the case it wouldn’t allow me to be driving all the way into 3rd gear for 10 min or so and then randomly go out and not function at all and then the next day start working again right?

It’s not consistent, the only thing that is consistent is the time it allows me to run in 1st - 3rd and then all together stop.

Maybe, it sounds like the master or slave might be going out. Look for fluid up on the floorboard near where the master enters or at the slave.

That’s where I started, no leaking fluid anywhere and that all seems to be functioning. I might end up just replacing that also though since I’m doing the clutch kit.

I meant to say where the master enters.
Heres clutch adjustment.

Usually b4 mine goes out they are inconsistent, then nothing.

Correct, I have shift bikes, heavy haul trucks and others without a working clutch.

It allows me to shift gears but it just ends up coasting to a stop and if I use the accelerator it just revs the motor.

OK, that suggests to me that the clutch disc is not tight up against the flywheel. If it works for a few minutes, when cold, but fades away as it warms, then maybe some adjustment will fix it. Your pedal freeplay does not sound right. There are, like, 3 or 4 places to adjust your clutch. I would thoroughly clean and inspect them all, probably loosen all the adjusters and start from scratch following the FSM order hoping that it's not just a worn-out too-thin clutch disc with no meat left on it.

I fully agree with you on all of this. Since I was going to do the throw out bearing, I figured just do a whole clutch kit since I’m in there already. At the same time I will inspect and adjust the pedal and so forth. I did watch a few videos on adjusting everything and I will also use the page above that @pb4ugo included to correctly adjust it.

I agree with @pb4ugo but there is 1 other solution that I chose to switch to due to surgery on both hips 40 years ago & 4 low back surgeries.... just do an LS swap with an automatic transmission. LOL!
I feel like I’m cheating lol. Gotta keep the ole 3 speed to teach these youngsters how to drive and have some fun down at the ranch!

I hear ya! I was going to do the same thing. But ultimately I had to... are you all ready for this.... 😳 My wife was right! She said that with all my surgeries if I was constantly clutching & shifting in heavy traffic that I'd be in so much pain that I wouldn't enjoy driving it and it would just sit in the garage.
