@FloridaLife is was looking for a buyer a couple days ago. His air cleaner is p/n 17700-60302 and covers the period from 09/69 to 09/71. I think he said is was freshly powder coated. You might try to contact him.

Clay, as I said on the phone, I think you should put your oil bath air cleaner up for sale, with an offer to trade for a paper element one. Since the oil bath is harder to come by, that might help ‘beat the brush’ for what’s out there.

I have an unrestored air cleaner assembly from an early '69 I could sell if nothing else comes up.

It needs to be from a 70-74 to match the carburetor that I sold him.
I will be in the shop Monday.
Shucks also have one from '76 that won't work then.
The inlet snorkel on that air cleaner looks more like a non-US 2F.

The air cleaner I have is in perfect shape, powder coated and looks GREAT, and is from my US spec 1971 (build date December 1970) FJ40. Comes with the paper filter & original sticker. I was excited and really looking forward to using it but had to switch to something with an automatic transmission due to multiple surgeries including both hips & 4 low back. My loss is someone else's gain.
