No and I would love to. I had even considered cutting down a later model Land Cruiser glass to keep the Toyota marking. Mine is plexiglass and quite scratched so I would love to swap. Let me know!

I will have the glass photos later but for now if you dimensions are the same as in the photo shown, it should fit.

Sweet, that solves it... they appear to be the same. For some reason I had it in my head that the later stuff was a little larger but after peaking at mine and some pics they are the same. I'll reply to your PM!

Eyeballing the actual lip but it's really close to your numbers so I'm sure it will fit.

All right, progress is progress. I pulled it in the shop today and hope to tackle a few different things.

Leaky clutch master cylinder. It's been weeping for a minute, I'll pull apart, clean up the cylinder and put a rebuild kit in it.
Door hinges are tight. I might rebush or I might just lube for now.
I've got a bad window regulator on the drivers side, I'll likely swap for a good used one until/if paint happens
I've got 3 broken bolts on my passenger side seat frame, it's been resting on the gas tank and held in place with a single bolt
Along with the bolts, I've got a broken seat frame... I've got a couple of donor 45 frames I'll graft into it.

Merry Xmas::santa:

Found some new needs today.

Jack clips. Has anyone tried using the clips themselves from a later 4x Series and drilling the rivet and re-attaching to the 45 tub?

20151213_125345 (Small).webp
Mirror. Anyone doing a repro mirror glass replacement or complete assembly?

20151213_125240 (Small).webp
Seat back bumper (drivers seat)

20151213_125256 (Small).webp
Burlap material for heater box packer? Assuming this is original? Anyone found a neat source?

Anyone have some spares or know of an option on these?

Bump for my current needs:

Parts I Need: Let me know if you know of a source!

Factory headache rack (have repro one, a vintage one would look better until I paint)
Bugcatcher Window Weatherstripping (working on a solution but I'd take some Furman ones in the meantime)
Rear Tailight assemblies (45 LPB) (mine are working but would like some cleaner options) - Still need
Rear tailight plugs for vehicle side of harness (this one has been hacked) - still need
Fuse Block Cover (think I'm good here, will verify)
Temperature control valve (mounts on F head) (think I'm good here, will verify)
Early horn relay (58-69 era) (have aftermarket but would like a working OEM with the clear plastic cover)
Early 4WD indicator switch ('58-'67 era) (think I'm good here, will verify)
Hardtop roof hook ('58-'67 era) (think I got a couple of these from Eddy @ Proffitts?)
Inspection Light socket (firewall mount with studs instead of spade connectors)
License plate bracket like this one
Wiper motor - Scored!
Back hardtop glass (Have some en route)
Passenger Side Bench Seat Bottom (Repaired)
Jack clips (all of them are broken)
Rearview mirror glass or complete assembly
Driver seat back rubber ushion/bumper
Heater box burlap packer/foam material

Thanks for looking!

I had one of our local guys re cut my mirror glass. I think I found the correct 4 WD switch for the t case if you still need it

The glass should be easy enough at one of our local glass shops. I've had some other mirror glass cut and the price wasn't too exciting. I wonder if there is a market for getting the rearview and side mirror glass for Cruisers pre-cut? It's not exactly easy to replace though.

Lemme check on the switch, I might have sourced one in my parts pile. Thanks!

The seat back bumper is the same as the bumper in the bottom of the door where the glass bottoms out. Mine were covered in overspray so I simply swapped them. Nobody will ever see the painted bumpers inside the doors. The ones from inside the doors look almost new.

Right on, that is a great tip. I've got some other doors here so I can try and track down some clean ones.

Enjoyed the podcast today with Tyler and Jimmy! Good talk!

Right on, thanks for listening, hope it was worth the time.
