They are being cut now, so I will do my best to have the prototype built soon.

Gotta get on ordering a grille (since the transmission comes first I wanna make absolutely sure that gets done and it's scheduled for the end of April at @torfab) as soon as I can. Be SOOOOOOO nice to have a nice clean front end. I'll repaint my headlight surrounds at the same time I put on the new grille. Be nice to find a good high solid content paint that'll hold up almost as well as a powder coat on that plastic. This time I'm gonna strip the plastic down real good before painting so hopefully the paint will last a good long time....

I have been really busy with body work and paint at the shop, and have not had time for any of this grille stuff. Anyway, I changed the headlight bezel files again, make small corrections and sent a pair off to be laser cut along with many orders. The last one I had cut, I needed to move the headlight opening inward 1/4" and I moved it outward instead by accident so it was unusable. These new ones should fit this time, and hopefully I can show a fully complete grille and headlight set with powder coat. It looked pretty cool though.

Sneak peek. The bezel trim pieces around the headlight on the passenger side are optional. I like them because it mimics the factory bezel, and it breaks up the boring, flat area. It fits very closely, but I just don't have time to deal with it right now. 
Also, this is a new hex pattern I call "Monster Hex"
The corner marker is a bent piece of metal that can be drilled or cut to hold light that will fit. No, the factory corner marker will not work on this, nor would it look right anyway. It's not for everyone, but it might bee cool for some. It really makes the front look tough when its on. I like the look, but I need to complete this before I take photos.

that looks so awesome. hoping to have my truck back next week from body work after hitting a deer. ill have kelly’s grille on and finished up so i’ll be posting it soon. i’m very pumped as it looked so awesome in mock up!!

it rooks rad!! the chrome behind the black really looks awesome. it’s a slightly different colour from the plastic chrome but still looks awesome
I would put this on my FJ today. The monster hex grille and headlight surrounds, that exact setup.

The final prototype is cut, and hopefully it fits 
It is just zip tied to the vehicle, it is not bolted on properly and that is why it looks like it is not bolted on properly
This picture is the previous prototype, I made adjustments and fitted it to 2 different 60's. I think its good-to-go. Let's just hope I didn't screw it up again in the DXF files.

anxious to see how some small circle blinkers/running lights will look on this. Bravo man, good job. I think the clearance this grille provides will allow some room for my intercooler too...

Yes it is. I thought it was too large when I rented it last year, now it's too small.
my mind running with this and im wondering the looks of a clear and amber 1" circular light... defender style. curious to mounting on the front flat part or that side diagonal. CALLING ALL PHOTOSHOPPERS

I will get the parts next week, then we shall see if I screwed it up again. If not, then I could have a sheet of them cut, maybe 5 sets if enough people like them. I am changing my website now, and it will be in stock inventory instead of custom orders from now on. Hopefully that will make it easier for me.
