Sent Pm reply, one question maybe more people would ask is will you alter the “Toyota” cut out to 12HT or is it only the Toyota option.

Oh hey that's cool. IIRC it was the 60 series grille that had the detachable TOYOTA emblem, so that'd work. I know my 62 grille is all one piece. That'd be great to be able to attach a freshly chromed TOYOTA emblem to an aftermarket grille.
 
little by little i’m getting this grill together i got the frame chromed so it’ll match the headlight bezels. it looks awesome.

Oh wow that's awesome. Once headlight bezels for the 62 series are finalized I'll be ordering a pair of those along with a grille and planning on having them powdercoated a semi-gloss black. Can't wait to see the headlight bezels.

I made the bezel, but haven’t finished it. I’m so busy, just no time. I will do it.
 
FYI, Not making the bezel piece for the 62 square lights though. It will be a conversion to 7" round for the 62. I should really get on this soon. I keep getting requests. Need more time!

Awww, that's a bummer. On the other hand, the 62 headlight bezels weren't really known for getting irreparably damaged during removal and installation, so it's not a critical item needing a metal upgrade. If the metal grille still looks good with the, I'm down.

Yours a 60 or a 62? Got a pic of it installed?
 
I want to eliminate the top and bottom side pieces of on the 62 grille, then I can replace the seam between the headlights and grille with a straight line. That is why I wanted to just make round light conversions. If its easy enough to just make a different face frame for the 62 then I will, if it looks ok.
 
Late nights have been a time when I can finish my prototypes. I Made the headlight bezels, they are ready to cut. These are designed to only be used with my grille. I'm sure that is obvious, but just mentioning that.

These eliminate the factory corner markers. I will have a flat front piece and side piece that can hold lights of your choice. The prototype will have 2 round lights in the front corner marker location for example. I designed them to have similar design aspects as the 60 plastic parts. There will be 2 "half moon" type trim pieces for left and right sides of headlight that somewhat mimic the original look.

Once these fit, then I will migrate them to the 62 and implement the 7" round headlight also. So, that means there will then be a headlight conversion to 7" round for the 62.

Just for clarification, you're talking the chromed plastic "TOYOTA" that was removable from the OEM 60 series grilles right? I'm getting revved up to hopefully splurge on a few more goodies for my 62 and a grille is one of the items I'm wanting :grinpimp:
