Now that we have the 55 back out in Oregon and looking to spend some more time on the road I’m looking for a gutted 55 body and frame to make a trailer for behind the pig. If anyone has a “cheap” pig they would want to part with let me know. Don’t need from the windshield forward. Have ideas just have to find a decent body. Doesn’t have to be great but useable with some metal work would be good. If only I’d kept all of em from the past.

We will also be driving this pig down to cruiser fest next month so hope to see some other pig enthusiasts there.

I believe I found my new project in Idaho. Going over Wednesday to pickup up the three pigs that are Forsale plus some parts. Get them all back home then make the decision of what to do from there.

I don’t have an addiction, you guys do.
1 trip down going to go try and grab the other two tomorrow. 3 pigs, 3 extra doors, 2 extra tail gates, seats,2 full sets of original rubber mats. 3 or 4 totes of parts that I didn’t look into just tossed in the truck and sort when I get home.

Left at 330 am got the red one loaded by 9 am. Just picked up number 3 and headed towards home. Yesterday was 13 hours today will be 18-20 hours but then they are at my place and only another 5k they should all be on the road

Any ideas on what motor mounts are set up for? He said v8 and didn’t really pay attention just bought the cruiser but then looking at the mounts this morning not sure they are v8. Atleast not same setup I’ve done for sbc in the other 4.

Oh they all have plans but there will be some parts left over, the red one I think is worth fixing and selling. To clean inside to not get back on the road. Fenders are fixable and the rockers aren’t horrid. They need work but not shot. Have all the interior panels, seats and mats

The blue one will become a trailer. Stay tuned. Will be my wife’s new coffee cart. Going to do half torsion axles mounted on the frame of it so I can cut the floor out and drop it down to be able to stand up in. Then full build out of the inside cabinets solar system to cover the banged up roof and so forth.

The green half cab body wise is pretty dang well done. And I like the different look. Found me a 77 Chevy 2500. So thinking v8 sm465, and going full widths sprung over and building a beater to not care about. But all high hopes. The trailer is first on the list since that’s what the deal was to drag home more s***.
