Well the 45 performed horribly on BaT so looks like the road trip budget is gonna be tighter than hoped. fingers crossed no major wrenches get thrown in but we will make it and hit all 50 in the girl one way or another.
Sorry about the auction- BaT sucks, and it's too crazy what some things do or don't sell for.

We got ya back. Plenty o peeps to help if ya have issues. Just keep posting trip with local 😉
We will be in touch soon. Looking forward to getting on the plane cause from then on it’s just drive and have fun nothing to worry about cause it’s out of my control we will take what comes and enjoy the journey.

She made it to my folks place in southern Oregon. Now 13 days and counting tell we fly out. But a little relief knowing it’s there and waiting and not at port or on a transport truck any longer. Then acouple days of packing it and putting the tent on, new wheels on, sticking fridge in and just running over everything before we start driving. 1 down 49 to go plus the hope was 4 Canadian provinces and 1 territory got to make it an even 55 in the 55 that’s 55 yrs old now

Yes it is, when my wife and I go camp traveling, the whole wagon is packed full. I need some packing lessons. :)
Well we will have to swing in to your place and you can see the build out in the back. Nothing much just simple cabinets and a 12v cooler was the idea. The whole trip is planned as simple as we could and see how much s*** we can stuff around the 5 of us

Well the pig should be getting close to touching mainland. I think Tuesday it hits port in Long Beach then trucked up to Oregon to wait for a few weeks for us to fly out. New wheels and tires showed up at my folks, roof top tent is sitting there, ice box is there ready to go as long as measurements were correct for how I built out the back. Got most our stuff packed and in boxes for the trip other than the daily things. But the trip stuff is packed. Got acouple throw blankets that showed up but the dog claimed this one already. Getting close and getting excited. View attachment 3873320
Great blanket!
Where did you get it?

Probably the shortest drive day of the trip will be today. Went from southern Oregon down to crescent city California. Short 120 miles. Thru the redwoods and down to the beach and around town. Tomorrow will be a long day of driving figuring around 12-14 hours of a day by the time we go up the coast and start heading east stopping off at crater lake and then continuing to eastern Oregon for the night. Going to try and take a picture of odometer start and end of each day

12.5 hours today but made the high desert of eastern Oregon. 496 miles today with plenty of stops at the beach going up 101, stopped in the snow for a few minutes near crater lake and made the goal for the night. Tomorrow will be a bbq at old friends home and relax for Mother’s Day. Monday we will be headed to Nevada and over towards slc. Hope to hit LC museum on Tuesday before continuing on.

I really like Crescent City! I went there on a total fluke and it was just a great combo of ocean and redwoods!
