After searching for at least a year, I am still not sure. T- Max? Slee? I've read the step by step guide a couple times and I'm open to bring told what to bring and which set up to go with.

I am also having to change an O2 sensor before the trip too! Installation CB. I figured I could run Edgestar for a day or two off of stock cigarette lighter no problem.

Since Slee is once again our major sponsor for this event, I think it would be great to buy a product from him and install it during the event. Slee sells the IBS system or some parts to build your own system.

If anyone would like to save on shipping I'd be willing to stop by Slee Offroad and bring whatever you need to Ouray with me. There are a few of us here in Denver that could do that. Anything that helps support our sponsors AND benefits members attending this event is a HUGE win-win and exactly what 100s in the Hills is all about!

As posted in the garage sale thread, I will have a trailer coming from Denver. Pm me if you need something picked up.

I have a well layed out (if I do say so myself) IBS DBS with the RBM installed. YOu are welcomed to use it as a metric and I'll help out as much as I can with lessons learned.

6 Month ago, Bluecruiser and I installed an LED light bar in front of the camp fire. It was a good bonding experience for us and a major irritation to others. ;). Let's keep it classy.

I usually travel with my weller butane torch... X 2 on lending a helping hand.

While I can't speak for others, my setup from IBS was a slam dunk, and wicked easy. In fact, I started around 8pm and had power running by midnight.

If you get the slee tray, just make sure that you go with longer j-hooks if going die hard 34m. I'd recommend slamming in the battery, and running any aux before you get there... Will make the rest a breeze with just running some wire.

It's pretty slim I'll be driving out to Ouray. I may be flying to Denver. Anybody with an open seat? I'll provide beer and bad jokes along the way. Just let me know when your passing through and I'll book a flight.

If any body in the south east that is traveling out, I'll be happy to drive to you and ride the rest of the way. I can also drive part way if you'd like.

I am 98% going, I just can't nut the $2,500 in expenses to drive. A $400-600 plane ticket and a bunch of beer is doable. I'll throw in a free light :D and a can of plasti-dip.

I'll bring my wiring kit, I'll lend a hand in wiring up the dual battery.

Hope to see you all soon. I've met a few of you, I look forward to meeting the rest.

I'm going to also back the IBS, did mine last weekend and it was pretty darn simple. Comes with everything you need. I extended my leads to hide the display in the glove box.

Cool, just get there...it will be a blast...glad to hear you are trying to get it figured out. Good luck.

I might have a spot for you. At a minimum, if you fly, I have a tent you can borrow and we'll make sure you get picked up from DIA. I was going to bring my twins but I want to be able to devote 100% of my attention to the event, so we may wait until next year to bring them when my wife can come along too.

Bloomer was thinking of riding along for Poughkeepsie Gulch, but either way, there will be open seats. We can work the logistics out later. PM me and we'll talk via email.

If you don't mind talking about princesses & American girl dolls along the way, I could probably give you a ride. I work about 20 minutes from DIA, and have to work until 4 or 5 on Thursday 8/1.. that gets me to Ouray between midnight and 1:00.. I'm sure someone at camp will still be up. But hopefully someone's going out a little sooner than you can hook up with.

@aaronrules running that Edgestar from the cig lighter is a worst case scenario for those... that plug is their weakness. You'll probably be fine for the drive out, but plan on upgrading to some better terminal connections- just shy of hard wiring the thing. There have been several cases of that cig plug just leading to problems, once you cut that out of the mix those fridges are pretty solid though. but yeah toss in the dual battery kit, you could get fixed up in no time.

Nick you are welcome to ride out with me. Bama and I are leaving late on Tues or early Wed of that week. Im riding solo so should be plenty of room for gear. Or you can fly into Albq and meet us there.

Andy,

Do you still have my phone number? I'll PM you in a little bit. Last minute packing to do before my trip.

Looks like plenty of options for you Nick, but I should have room as well.

Nick, you're more than welcome to hop in with me if you want to get to Birmingham from Atlanta, but I am going from Ouray to Biloxi, MS on the way back. I could drop you off at the airport or you could hitch with one of the GA guys coming back and pickup your vehicle on the way back

I am not on the attendee list???

I am a 100 series newbie and plan to attend!! I just picked up a stock LX 470. I will be bringing an 8 yr old girl and 5 yr old boy. We plan to stay in our popup trailer. I am looking forward to getting to know new people, new mountains, and my new cruiser :)

Post above is #184. I sent my info and ordered shirts. But, I haven't been added to the attendee list. Do I need to do something else?

Thanks,
-JJG.

Nick, same goes here man. I'll be out in Denver all week and could pick you up at the airport for the 100's trip down to Ouray Thursday AM.

I'll be driving solo and wouldn't mind someone jumping in with me.

I'll be camping with the group Thursday night. Then in the Ouray KOA cabins the rest of the time with my father who is flying into Durango sometime Friday.

The only problem is you may have to find another ride back to Denver after the trip because right now I'm planning on driving back to the Midwest from Ouray via the southern route..

Let me know if I can help, as others have mentioned just get yourself out there and I'm sure we can make it work for ya!!!
