Are the injectors stock units that have been reworked or are they new injectors? If they were re-worked do you know who did the work? If they are new do you know where they came from?

Original injectors. Don't know who did the work, but I assumed it was RC. I'll try and find out.

Excellent, thanks! My 3FE is getting torn down at the end of the month. I'm still trying to decide on whether or not to do a 2F short block, just trying to get all the info I can.

Pappy you going to post the link to your writup on the convesion and intallation?

I would like to wait until I have it more completed. As much as I relish my 15 minutes of FAME, I'm very concerned about the 30 minutes of FLAME. :D

The answer is yes, but not now.

i will be interested when that write up comes on... i have the same setup in my girlfriends basement awaiting assembly. i added 1.84/1.50 stainless chev valves and z28 springs to just about the same setup you put together. i also opened up the F oiling bores to do some of the tricks Mark W wrote up in trails a few years back.

any sources on higher flow injectors? i was just going to clean mine out and hope for the best.

Boys, draft means draft so don't flame too hard. It's still a work in progress, as is the motor. I won't feel totally comfortable until I hear it run.

pappy- who bored out your throttle body? i want to do mine, but my machinist is afraid to do it without the new butterfly in hand. :crybaby:

i hear this is a pretty regularly attempted mod- any cruiser shops have experience with doing it? i would rather send it to somebody who has done it!

Fantastic write-up so far! If you are doing all work you are one neat SOB! I love a good clean install of anything.

BTW those RC Engineering guys have a good powder coater. Happen to know what color blue that is?

Keep it coming, can't wait to hear that it's running....
 
The motor was built by Tim at DOA Racing. Throttle body was done at RC Engineering.
 
It's only taken six months to get the engine between the frame rails for mock-up. The brain is alive and has a steady pulse.

My insperation.

Looking good Pappy would love to see some dyno results once its complete. My heads ready and new con rods are on their way but it sure is pains takingly slow. Once their in the pistons will be ordered.

Do you have your flow test results from the port and polish would like to see how they compare?

Still waiting on my new injectors from Germany too.

You would not be in need of a spare set of stock 3F-E injectors, if so just let me know. Or a copy of this?

Actually, I was able to salvage two of just about everything EFI. I have a backup of all the EFI parts, except the large stuff like intake and head.

3F-E's here are like rocking horse sh*t infact I'm starting to think I have the only one in OZ but I like been an odd ball:grinpimp:

I cant even give these injectors away :lol:
