Close on driveway space. and that is how my intakes work...Give me your old one and you get my nice newly reworked one for a small fee. Should have a clear driveway this week. I am working on getting red tied up this weekend. Should have it almost done except for the body work.
 
No EGR temp sensor. Why you need this EGR set up? I have these all the time. I normally throw them in the trash... Never thought about the Cali connections needing them. Let me know I am sure mmw68 would part with it.

No, I am just wondering because my EGR that I took off has the EGR temp sensor. I'm just wondering if the ECU will throw a code if I do not connect it back up. Otherwise, I guess I have a nice temp sensor for something else.
 
Port and polish

Here are a couple pics of the before and after polish on the head.

And the polished close ups. I concentrate on where the injector shot is delivered to the chamber. I open it up and relieve the transition so it has a nice clean shot going in. I will follow up with a smaller grit flex wand and get em nice and pretty.

Update

OK Got the head finished off. Working on getting the TB all set up. Yes I am doing it on the bench per the FSM. I have everything else ready to bolt up so I should be ready to go tomorrow afternoon. Trying to get everything cleaned as I go.

Also I am ditching the vaccum fuel pressure regulator and going with my old reliable. Here are the pics of the frame rail retapped for the -6 an bulk head fitting. This will dispose of the need for a lot of vaccum hose!

Are you going to adjust those valves while the valve cover is off? :flipoff2:
 
I did the FJ62, Seriously - just see if any are loose, we can always do them later. Paint and Body is more important.
 
Progress report

Well the intake is all back together and I have run fuel lines for the new Aeromotive regulator. So here is the progress so contain your DROOL!! I am going to start cleaning up the harness tomorrow before it goes to paint just because it is irritating my creative bug!

:grinpimp: WOW - Now Iam going to have to clean up everything else in the engine compartment!!

Oh Hell..Iam going to have to get a new brake booster now, I can't have that POS next to that engine!!
 
Be careful. The booster might not clear the engine with that extra layer of paint. :D
