Thanks John!!! hahaha. I’ve been to FC before and had a blast. I must have registered the day tickets went on sale, because I don’t remember being on the waitlist or dealing with spots being all booked up! I’ve taken the weekend off work, so if there’s no space for me and a friend to register, that’s ok- we’ll head to uwharrie and camp and do some trails there. Would be great to get some additional swag from FC though.

Yeah, if this is the right Kevin (from Okinawa)- he hung out and spoke Japanese with my mom at the event . I won’t be bringing the parents, but would still enjoy being a part of the crew.

So i plan on arriving to camp on Thursday to set up.... planning on being there after lunch time....

Ill bring a healthy amount of my teriyaki beef on lettuce cups for those that would like to come over for a bite....

I'll be there Thursday as well. Probably after 6 or so, depending on when I get out of the office that day.

I'm planning on heading up on Wednesday afternoon to be set up before dark...I like to get as much time in on these long wheeling weekends that I can. Having the new trailer rig "should" make things a bit easier to set up the sleeping quarters quickly. I need to do another practice run setting up and breaking down so I don't forget any parts (poles for the awning, etc. in separate bags).

Friday morning for me, need to be there for the girls for Halloween, leaving by 6am target arrival by 10:30 am.

What time do people hit the trails? There are drive-to from camp in the rig, right? Hoping to at least make an after-lunch run or two.

I'm sure there will be others rolling in around then and hoping to hit some afternoon runs. For me, I hope to be on the trail all day with a lunch break somewhere deep in the woods.

Great thing about the Cove is that once your'e back to our camp area, a few miles into the property, the trail heads are literally right on the perimeter of the campgrounds. I know you'll come in on a trailer, but for the guys like me driving my wheeling rig there, air down once for the weekend, air up when you need to head home.

Looking forward to seeing you there this year....

So another question- who’s bringing little ones? My wife and older daughter are going to do their own thing that weekend, but my 7 year old says she wants to come camping with dad. So I’ll likely have one with me both nights.

Several people usually do. Just be aware of how the Cove does pricing which I think was covered in one of the posts. Having the whole family there adds up quick
