So this Cruiser has power windows but no power door locks, so we installed them.

We are also installing keyless entry with a FOB. Those parts will be here next week. 🤙

We installed the front coil springs at the end of the day.

Trans crossmember was a bolt in and done deal. Same for drivelines, surprising but everything is good to go there.

Cheers

Ian, did you have to change crossmembers or does it all line up with the same frame to crossmember mounts?

Are the HD7* specific fuel lines still available to purchase new and use VS the HZ lines?

Such and awesome job.

I am curious about the tire width and no flares. It looks like an 11" ish tire width (?). I like the look very much but I am an admitted flare fan boy. I also try to stick to the rule of form follows function. Does it look like flares would be necessary on this truck? Mainly from a "keep it clean and rock chips off" kind of necessary.

Thanks, and keep rockin it

When I say flare, I mean wheel opening flare

These are 255’s without flares. No problem at all with poke outside the wheel well.

Completely different with an 80 chassis, axles and tires wider than a 255. That will have a lot of poke without flares.

Exhaust is for a 2000’s (narrow nose) HDJ79 so needed a little work to fit. Air box is also HDJ79 and wasn’t a bolt in job.

Getting close now!! 🚀
