It's in the video starting around the 8:50 mark. They weren't terrible. One of them had some sludge on the collar. Looked like whoever put it in did not tighten it down all the way. The rest looked okay still, no crazy visible wear. How did the old plugs look?
That’s good to know. As far as I know, my plugs in my 2015 were never replaced. It's in the video starting around the 8:50 mark. They weren't terrible. One of them had some sludge on the collar. I didn't expect much difference since the old plugs did not look that bad, BUT surprisingly there was a noticeable increase in power, a slight "miss" that was no longer there, along with about 1-1.5mpg better MPG so far.
It may be the somewhat common issue of an oil leak. Have you read through this thread?Looked like whoever put it in did not tighten it down all the way.
It wasn't "wet" oil, more like gummy sludge, which is what made me think its not a valve cover or plug donut leak. But you could be right. Maybe I'll add valve cover R&R to the list of to-do's. It's not too difficult to do on these 5.7 3UR motors. It may be the somewhat common issue of an oil leak. Have you read through this thread?
Oil on spark plug threads
The VFTuner is where it’s at for the LX570 for tuning. It’s the only tuner that I have found that supports the Lx570. I’ll let you know how it goes later todayGreat thread! Keep it up!
I've been drooling over the idea of supercharging my 2017 LX570.... the lack of tuning options is whats holding me back.
Has anyone run 295/70r18 tires on a +12 wheel? Just picked up a set of mint wheels and tires from a local Tundra owner for the 2017 LX570. Pretty sure it’ll require some clearancing. I don’t mind cutting and trimming some plastics, but not too much. Anyone else run this setup on their LX or LC200?

Took a quick glance under the truck last night. The body mount doesn’t look like it’ll be in the way. But some massaging or light cutting of the plastics will definitely be needed. The rear looks pretty easy. Front is where I’m worried. I’ll try to tackle the job next weekend and report back. You’ll need a BMC at 12mm and likely have to roll the inside lip of your rear fenders.

Good question. Not sure. Maybe I’ll try to lift one corner at a time to see if anything makes contact at full compressionLooks great. Will you hit your fender on full compression? Time for Slee sliders?
