They do look great! I think I lost 5 pounds in water weight today putting that stuff on! 2.5 OME 850/860 and 285 75/16 Duratracs. Picked up the tires on EBay for $932 plus a $100 mail-in rebate and free shipping.

Looks great! Nice stance. Just needs armor now.

Been busy between the kid, house, yard stuff, the little red car, buddies vehicle, etc in an effort to have the truck ready to go to SD in a few weeks.

- overhauled winch
- removed ABS servo & re-plumbed brake system
- installed new Photoman pulley on the Sequoia alt
- installed dual battery (finally)
- Fixed exhaust hangers
- fixed rear locker not operating
- modified PS reservoir

I think there are couple more I forgot and I still have a few more things to address but I can see the light and now feel the 100* heat every day.

Brakes as good as any 19 year old 6500lb truck can now.

Smaller diameter on the 150A (really 175A) alternator should help with electrical demands better at low speeds.

Twisted splines = no-go with e-lockers

Need a GTAW machine, welds work but way too much material deposited for a something people can see. Upside....1 Qt capacity.

Very good looks to be my 80's brother.

What is the benefit of the larger power steering reservoir?

More fluid helps ensure the pump doesn't cavitate when wheeling at goofy angles and helps with cooling. I think this puts my total system capacity close to 4qts. The stock 80 PS reservoir is around a pint or slightly less compared to a full quart.

Mounted the bed to the 45. Still lots to do!

The hex nut is gone now, got a little hot on the sleeve and it stayed put. 4.5" angle grinder is my friend. So is a Lincoln 255.

Hope it's all in the right location.

This weekend, spent some time with the polisher and the new girl:

We should have a race.

I got my frame back from the blaster. Stripped it down, degreased, etched and coated it with POR-15. Also coated the axles and started installation of an OME suspension kit.
All new tie rod ends swapped in and I took out the old diff drain plugs and put in new magnetic plugs.

Are you top coating over the POR15?

I have a trailer that was finished in POR, not pleased with how it weathers the sun. Seems it needs a top coat of paint.

Mine is rolling on OME now, will get a pic. I need to put together $$$ for my steering. Box rebuild and pitman (I am not sure I have the one I need) and tie rods / ends. I also need to put this in reverse and do the axle overhaul, which will take some more money. So long as it is a roller, it is using 35 year old axle parts.

How is your motor?

I have a partial can of chassis black from POR if you want to topcoat your POR15. I did the front and rear sections that get sunlight. Warning.... It is slightly different sheen.

What did you do your Land Cruiser lately?

Wheeled it in the Black Hills for four days. I wish I had pics but my camerawoman stayed at home this time.

That's an offer that's too good to refuse. Is a tour of the 2fpower automotive museum included?

you bet. :)

Shoot me a text, busy week but we will find time. I will make sure paint is still good. Keep it in the extra frig per the instructions, so should be good still.
