Rear Springs

With 1MAC's help I got my new rear springs mostly on. The nut on the centering pin wouldn't fit through the hole on the bottom plate. I'll get that taken care of tomorrow. Thanks a ton Mike, I wouldn't have gotten that far without your help.

Actually did that last week. Today I replaced all the brake lines and put the splash guards, bump stops and rad stand. So nice to be working with new clean and freshly painted parts. Almost all hardware is shiny new zinc plated JIS stuff from Bel-Metric.

Finally got around to tightening it all up last night. Still need to cut off the u bolts, but everything else is good to go. Unfortunately, when I tried to take it for a test drive the power was out to the fuel pump... again!

The lean is down to a much more manageable 1/2" from almost 3". The 3" springs are a smidge taller than the 4", but I'm sure with some use they will settle. Still have the fronts to do, but power to the fuel pump is first.

Can we ask why? And when are u gonna get ram horns instead of firewall cookers?

Once I commit to something, I am all in. Yes, I have ADD, but I am also obsessive compulsive. Once I make my mind up, I put 110% into it.
 
Wow - So is the plan to weld back on as much as you can from the cut-off parts?

You surely can't bend that bad boy. But, it will cost you 1/10th in the quarter mile.
 
What do u want to know about the pto? Shifter mounts to trans. I can dig one out sometime. U interested in a floor shifter for a 3 spd or leaving column
