Thought I would start a new thead where we could share what we are doing to rigs, or where we were driving and playing with them.... So, show us what you have been doing.....

I just installed a Scion radio with iphone & satellite compatibility that changes color and greets me every time I turn the ignition on... but it's not a Landcruiser :ban:... so :flipoff2:

Just ordered my ARB front bumper literally minutes ago. Pic's when I get it on.

Ella helped me build a 22RE for the 4Runner.

Colin- That is looking great!

Thanks. It's in and running. Power steering pump rebuild kit from Autozone had a housing o-ring that didn't fit right, and I'm sucking air. Waiting for an OEM from Molle and should be driving soon.

We can overlook this fact if you bring some good bourbon to the meeting.....

Thats awful pretty! u going to wheel it or show it?

I was going to drive it to Lexington tomorrow and back into some guys Tundra, but still don't have the seal for the power steering.

I have no idea what you're talking about ;)

Just to stay on task... I did have to get new tires too  and...

That boy is one "turbo diesel" short of a combination platter.......

 love the emblem. just wish we could get the real deal here.

It was all I could do not to swipe every Hilux badge I could get my hands on while in Afghanistan. BTW...is that the correct vintage badge or the earlier version?

Oh, which Scion model did you go with? I'm looking to fill the empty hole in my dash.

Here is new project for today

I remember that very same mess when I purchased my 80, not fun at all. I recall replacing nearly everything related to the parking brake on the axle.

Wow, a little bit of corrosion - left one came off FOO (middle was cut off with grinder wheel) but the right side of it was gone!

Right one came off the used axle. Hard to believe this is the same part.

Little older, but liked it better. Went with the 1806

Yikes! Need a supervisor?

Thanks for the supervisor offer.... I am having to fit the project in here and there in between kid stuff... so I don't even know when I can get out there again.

I picked up a rear axle from the u pick it last week because the brakes looked new. When I pulled it apart it looked awesome. lots of new parts on it. So, I am just swapping all the guts from the new-used brakes to FOO. I looked into getting new shoes, but they were $80 bucks.

Anyway, got the pass side done and adjusted. Hopefully find time this afternoon to do the other side.

Can anyone figure out which one came off the junkyard axle.? Man I got lucky

Interesting how the old lower control arm is thinner than the new one. The old one is actually heavier too. Oh, and it doesn't have a huge bend in it.
