Awesome! That's the same version I got for my GX. It shifts so much better with it. Especially with the added TQ from the supercharger. The "lifetime" fluid in my A750F looked like this at 150k

Wholesale Automatics Nomad Valvebody installed! Only drove it briefly but she shifts like a BMW now!

It was pretty straightforward, the WA instruction video is really good it walks you through every step. Just made a huge mess and dripped all over me. This was my first time doing any work on an auto so I was a little worried but it turned out to be pretty easy.

Got them both on the bench and swapped over the solenoids. I wiped em all clean and then dipped them in fresh ATF. I also poured fresh ATF all over the cracks and crevices before putting it back together. I don't know anything about autos but it seemed like the right thing to do. Plus that way it would drip all over me when reinstalling.

I just followed the Toyota refill procedure and used a pesticide sprayer like others have mentioned on the forum. Used Valvoline Maxlife ATF which seems to be the best to use (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008QDV2JG?th=1). I ended up needing about 5 quarts.

I've only driven it a short time so far but it definitely sharpened up the shifts. I just got the Stage 1 upgrade so it shifts similar to a BMW or Mercedes trans. Quicker shifts, slightly firmer but not too much which is what I was hoping for. Still very comfortable. Also whatever it did to the torque converter I have to re-calibrate my throttle foot because now it just takes off from a stop with the smallest bit of throttle. Wasn't expecting that but I like it. I also have the manual TCC lockup kit I will install that another day.
Awesome, thanks for the short review. I've been on the fence about getting VB or just waiting to do full HD rebuild. Think I'll go with VB. Was thinking to do H extreme VB but Nomad stage 1 sounds perfect. Thanks

Your truck is definitely built for all-out power so you probably want the extreme VB. I talked to Dave at Wholesale Autos and he recommended strongly to get the extreme since I was supercharged. They recommend it if you are making over 600Nm at the crank, which is about 440ft-lbs. I think I'm still well under that and don't have plans to do any more power mods but you are probably over that. I also have the 5-speed it might be different for the 4-speed.

Finally was time to get some new wheels. Turned out to be a saga. I have had the same set of XD Addict wheels since I bought the truck, I found them on CL near where I bought the truck in CA and picked them up same day after flying in. I put a couple sets of tires on them since then The tires were ok but leaked air but my wheels were just thrashed and faded. I decided to go back to 285/65/18 (32.5x11.5) from 275/70/18 (33x10.5). I just found that the skinnier tires were not as grippy on the terrain that I normally drive on. Also I have a hunch that when aired down, the "taller" 275 actually drops down lower than the 285 when they are lowered to 15 psi or so. I am going to test that theory. Also the taller tires make the truck sluggish on the highway, no problem now with the SC, but I noticed it when I switched. The only thing the taller tires really are better at is looking taller in the parking lot at full street pressure, otherwise wider is better. Other than that I love the Ridge Grapplers, they are such a great tire and tough as nails. I really can't believe how much abuse they take. And they are also quiet and smooth on the highway. I won't buy any other tire unless maybe they come out with a RG 2.

Hard to find wheels for the 100...that I like. I didn't want a black wheel again and not polished either and not bronze so that really narrows it down to like 5 wheels. I originally bought a set of Method 316s but they didn't fit. The website shows them fitting but they interfered with the drive flange bolts and wouldn't seat on the hub. They were so cool looking and in Titanium color they looked stunning. I returned them and bought a set of Method 305 NVs which were my 2nd choice. The Titanium color on these wheels isn't as rich, it looks more metallic, but still looks awesome. They are a super faux-beadlock style, I didn't realize how super fake they were on the website lol. Also the center caps don't fit on the front so I have to order special ones that are backordered of course.

What's the all in price here so far, for supercharger and necessary upgrades and components? Being loaded down for overlanding and driving in the mountains is the only thing that makes me pine to upgrade to a 200, but this would kill that for much cheaper.

I got an evap canister for a 2008 Scion and it's about 1/2 the price of the 100-series canister but identical.

All you really need is the Elate supercharger kit. I never considered the non-intercooled version but it is cheaper. It was designed to be used with a 100% stock 2UZ, you shouldn't really need to tune anything according to Travis. I do have a piggyback ECU but it's not really doing anything at all. If you just get the supercharger and install it yourself it's ~$6k depending on the USD-AUD conversion rate. I used have 200 envy as well but now I don't look back. This is the best truck ever now.

This is the ultimate test of self-control. :bang:

Corolla GR or a SC for the LC...

The website calls this a LX470 kit, seems like it would also work for the LC, correct? What about non vvti LC's? I see this in my near future, have a couple of trips to the mountains next year and this would make driving up there so much easier.

That's my truck in the photo. I don't think they are up 100% on which LC models are available in the USA but yes it will fit LC too. The big thing is VVTI vs non-VVTI just make sure you make that clear when you order. When I ordered they were confused because the VVTI 2UZ only comes in 200s in Australia. The difference doesn't even have to do with the VVTI it's just that only VVTI engines have the SAI equipment in the valley.

Wondering if this is feasible for a non vvti 2uz? He mentions the water bridge would need to be changed out for a 2uz. Good savings if this is mostly all anyone needs.

Just get the Elate kit IMO. It's brand new not used parts. For $6k it's a bargain IMO. If you want to boost your truck you definitely want to do it right.

This is the same blower that is on the Raptor R and Shelby Mustang, albeit only 1900cc vs. 2400 of the Fords. It is a Roots style blower for the 21st century. It has 4 lobes per screw and has a helix shape. Harrop claims this Eaton blower is the most efficient blower available for the LS engines, which means it's gotta be good considering how many options are available for LS motors. Plus with the intercooler option it's just so worth it.

I have TRD Supercharger and I would do exactly what J1000 says above if I did it again. Get the kit from Elate bolt it on and go. :)

Appreciate the input.
