I have tested the truck last night one turn on the fuel pump help me climb the hill however I have to give it a another turn to get the truck help with more fire

I did change all my bulbs in the meter everything works as it should even the H4 now but the low fuel light had to be removed because I have 270L in it it’s not empty 🤣😂😅

Drooling over your Troopy, nice job Mate!!!

Ahhaa Pura Vida! I'vee been drolling all over the weekend found a few problems while putting to spec torq and to my surprise the guy who painted my truck didn't torq the pucks that hold the chassis! MODO : When giving a JOB double check the job :P

After torquing to spec the big ticket items I ran into problems again with the Esf grease le kingpin unfortunately for me also the shackles bolt would not torque I had to tap them with M14 x 1.5 in order to get them to spec may when we installed then with striped the fillets or something anyway they are done

Now the diff housing and leaf spring need to to be torque as well but these are not your regular U bolts they a straight M16 x 2.0 length 11 inch or 280MM I did cut them and taped to make sure of clearance

Today I went for another small test drive after torquing & greasing all bush. I had given a full turn to the full pump! This time is was way better and I feel it was more easier to climb slow but easier. The truck feel better now after bolting the mount chassis 4 of them was completely slack a nightmare .... I probably gonna head toward Labrador this summer instead of heading west closer and apparently I am book to go the DRC mid August so this complicate my Western plans!

However I am in LOVE, waiting on the maxtrak to fit them as well

Got my hand on a quick connect for the greasing gun… I will do the propeller tomorrow and still need to add more lubricant to the clutch master cylinder boot as the swintquing sounds still present…

Loading Bar are to short for them to be Installed on my roof vertically. I have the 1250MM version so need to get 1450MM to make it right..

I ordered safe jack

The Sergeant" Off-Road Kit

I will see if possible to mount on the load bar

Today got a chance to brush the transmission housing at least some of it came off … this in preparation to drop it at the shop next week and I also got mis section casting new and new Tcase decided to still used bolt on vacuum one since it’s new I guess it’s gonna last. The shop will refresh all the tranny including installing the 5th gear from tamer terrain I got last summer from cruising brother

I received the Bendix Brake boster it's a 2 bolt pattern on the master cylinder side mine is a 4 bolts patern no big deal so far so I need to shop for a 2 bolt patern master cylinder but on the 2 bolts one there's 3 fitting compared to 2 on mine (in & out)

Hey Tom!

This is for the R151F correct? It has been a while since I looked into all this, but did you also order the aftermarket kit (thrust washers etc) that apparently addresses the weak point in this transmission? I recall some transmission outfits in AU had identified and had a fix for these 5th gear failures on these transmissions. Nice work on the cruiser, as always....

Hey Darren, yes a R151F

Hope you’re well. I did not order the truss washer kit, but the mechanic at the shop mentioned it and said that he needs to put something, a gasket, because there’s a small backlash to be done on the unit. So this is the Tamr Terrain kit. I thought it would have come with the other, the install kit, but it didn’t, so we’re gonna have to make it fit. Also, there was no output shaft on my new transfer case, so I will have to look into that, but I’m more concerned right now about my little booster brake install. I need to find the proper, master cylinder,
