Sorry to see you go Nick! Hope we can still be friends :)

I think I am right behind you Nick...different reasons, but probably getting out of the 100 series soon. It would be sweet to find a Benz like yours too!

Nice ride! I'm on my 34th car/motorcycle in roughly 12 years, so I know nothing is truly permanent. If you miss wheeling a 100 or LC in general, you can always come back. Good luck hanging onto the license with the new ride though - I just rented an R8 V10 for my girlfriend's bday (yes I'm that lucky that she actually wanted that), and I can tell you if I had that much power on tap daily I would not have the freedom to be typing this message right now :D

I sure do miss it!

Many reasons for selling it. I wanted to get out of the 100 and get into something that I can actually wheel hard and not have to worry about beating it up...I also needed a vehicle that didn't require a step ladder for the ladies.

It's going to a good home, the new owner and I talk frequently and I can tell you the "2000UZJ" legend will only get better :). Needless to say I'm already first in line when he sells it. I will let Mr. Gary fill us in on the plans once he takes delivery of it.

Good talkin to ya. Our rigs are pretty similar although you probably wheel it harder than I do.

Sad to see ya go man. Maybe you can pick up an 80 and not worry about beating it up when wheeling :D

Sorry to see you sold your Hundy Nick, enjoy the E55!

Sheesh...two 100 series stalwart contributor's gone within a short span. Next we'll hear that spressomon traded his in for a diesel Grand Cherokee and hoser is going to Australia to get a 70 series!

In all seriousness, enjoy the fast car...shouldn't be too hard to keep the rubber side down on that thing. Speeding violations, on the other hand...

The day has come. The new owner takes delivery today.

If I had known it cleaned up so well I might of kept it.

Might I ask what the hell that is just behind the drivers side window?

Creepy photobomber is my guess, but it looks eerie.

Someone got a free truck but paid for all the goodies. Dam, you should of sold a few items on the side

Do you have a detailed write up on what was done to install these seats?

The seats are in. I'll have to give them a few days to soften up. First impressions are, much better support. No sliding around in the seat (I like to corner hard), and they look nice. I plan on having the enormous "CORBEAU" stitching blacked out.

I do have one bit of advice...pay somebody else to install them...

I iz here. Still looking for a 100. I guess I didn't realize how hard a "clean" 100 is. Which sucks since mine is in Alaska :(.

The seats were mounted to the OEM seat sliders and then two 1/4" steel beams for the center support. The seats remained electric for forward/backward but became manual for the reclining. I would do it again (and will one day). The support was incredible off road and did not bounce around at all on washboard.
