I like that Green, looking forward to seeing more!

As ever, looking great Wayne!!

Just want to make a remark about the front seat supports(brackets).;)
I used the same kind of arrangement when I put in my spring supported seat (subframe of a truckers-seat looking similar to yours). Despite the supports being shorter and therefore the rearward attachpoint of the seatframe being closer to the attachpoint of the support to the body, I found that the supports started to bend over time and I had to re-inforce them.

the truck is being stripped back down.
the final color is picked and off to the paint shop, i have NEVER had such grief getting a color right.
a change again on the snorkel, going to make my own, too much misinterpetation with Mike and easier to just start from scratch.
the seats, speaker boxes, arm rests, head rests are finished and coming back on friday evening.

all that is left to fab is the snorkel and the plenum for the intercooler. i have the room so i am considering elec fan for the intercooler. will make up my mind next week.

i am off today to pick up my truck from Japan that has the final pieces in it for to complete the front diff.

next week will be busy, then another down time till all the painting is completed then it is a HUGE plastic model kit to reassemble with no instruction sheet.

i am getting excited.

thanks for checking in M8

Hello Wayne,

Great truck. Keep up the good work.

The remark of the rig as a huge model kit is good. And accurate, too.

Great "build thread" Wayne.

I don't know why I've missed it for so long. (I found it a few days ago and it has taken me about 3 days worth of spare time to work my way through. .......... And that's mainly just looking at the photos too.)

And I have an idea how much "taking photos and running a build thread" can slow-down and complicate tasks. --- Well done!

thanks guys, will have an update next week as the work progresses.

enjoy the long weekend in the meantime.

Wayne,

I would like to donate all the decals, heater resto kit, rebuild door limiters, glove box plate and what ever else it would need.

PM me your shipping info and what you think you will need.

What are you doing for seat covers?

Shane

i took a look at your products and they seem top notch.
this unit has the Vintage air system so the factory heating system is redundant.
if you have access to the H55F glove box 5 speed instructions then i would be interested in that.
i will go through your decal page again and let you know...

but free is not neccessary buddy.

I have a 5-Speed plate and a mess of Diesel decals and non US engine bay decals.

shoot me some pics to
