That's a tremendous amount of excellent work! There are pillows on the floor, a cushion on the roof and a neck pillow. Are you in the garage around the clock? Sleeping with the truck?
Great Job!

Looking at it now I'd never believe it has New York and Florida history. The Cruiser Gods are smiling upon thee for saving a 62 with such an unfortunate history.

Hahaha yes! There is a 1974 FJ40 next to it, being built as well. Bottom tailgate installed. The top tailgate was a pain to install. All new rubber seals. I can’t believe the paint looks this clean with a garage paint job. All Sherwin William paint. The FJ40 next to it I’m doing a bit of a custom color I haven’t tried before. We’ll see how that goes.

Hey guys I’m having some issues with my fuel injection. First I put it together I had insane leaks at the back fuel line changed - no issues

Then I installed all the injection system insane leaks at the fuel pressure valve … took it apart changed the back o ring with the SOR OEM Toyota o-ring $7 bucks … no leaks there … then I realized I needed the whole cups tips and o rings at the front got it from SOR … no issues at the front but now

At the back of the injector the side where it plugs into the fuel rail, insane squirts fuel from there, any tricks? Are they not suppose to be super tight? Maybe the o rings that aren’t OEM are too thin squirting fuel?

I assembled and disassembled the fuel system 5 times now LOL

In case anyone needs bodies or parts for the fj62 they got 3 sitting up front look clean at specter off road

Couple progress shots, got a tiny dent in my door I missed gonna get one of those paintless dent removal guys soon

I found the issue why my injectors were leaking, the place motor west performance didn’t put OEM Toyota seals on the injectors so I went to Specter off road and got OEM seals and it works like a charm. Crazy what o rings can do

Painted at home btw with Sherwin Williams base cost clear coat through a 3m gun and a California air compressor

I’m sending out my door panel upholstery to get redone in leather they’re gonna stitch the leather pattern I drew and I’m gonna install / glue the leather soon

By the way oem screws on the tail lenses are they black or silver?

Are these OEM gaskets? Either way, where did they come from?

I’ll find out. I think this was from eBay from Japan. I don’t know if they are OEM. I don’t think they are OEM.

Once I test all the seals, I might replace a bunch of them with OEM
They don’t look it. They look like the gaskets I got with my junk china tail lights for my 40. Pretty much garbage.

No offense meant of course. You are just doing such an amazing job with everything else.
