Nigel, Keep in mind that Wayne would fill those drawers with items that are special to all Canadians ...... Bottles of maple syrup and Anne Murray records. :D

Thanks..only took four months to complete, but finally done.

I got the carpet at home depot. They had a pretty huge selection and colours to choose from.

....and filled with beer. If I put plastic in there I could make a cooler!

nice job looks great ! Have you figured out if your going to run a soft top in the spring/ summer ?

thanks yeti. Probably going to have to forgo it for a couple years until I can afford something nice like wayne make....also our spring is brutal for rain here and it's my DD.

You make any headway with ideas?

Just turned over, no spring chicken but less than many. So far been running great minus a few hiccups, hoping for another 200k more.

I heard Tallahassee is expecting 1/4 in of snow. Any in your neck of the woods? Your cruiser handles like a dream in the snow.

I live 30 miles northeast of Tallahassee and so far no snow. However we do have a good coating of freezing rain. The "good ole boys" are going to have fun today. :D

Jacksonville is maybe 4-5 hours north east of me. I wish I could take the cruiser out in the snow, would like to see how the tires would perform as well. Have spots for studs in them.

I thought "studs" were the guys who could pick up chicks at the local bars without first having to spend a fortune on drinks. :)

1/4" of snow ... seriously?

Allow me to help......

0.25in = 6.3500mm
It's a lot more impressive when converted to that ridiculous metric system. :D

yah, this is my yard.
started snowing the first week in Dec, high winds, blowing show, fresh snow all but 3 days till now. 8 weeks of the nasty.
roads closed for the last 2 days and off and on since Dec.
the wife has had her first "snow days" this year since we moved down in 08.
locals are calling it the worst winter in memory.

me, i am loving it.

Heater lever broke the other day. It has always been quite stiff and yesterday it was extremely stiff. The knob is still intact, but the lever is basically stuck in center position (it will move left and right but not all the way and just goes back to position seen). Charles referred me to someone who has fixed his twice...going to give a call today or tomorrow. Anyone else have a problem like this?

Mine are really stiff too, I try not to move them around much... I normally just adjust the fan speed once I am either on COLD or HOT. But I did have to try the defrost due to fogging up , it did not work that great.

why do you have the AC turned on?
i thought it was cool down there.
disconnect the flap end from the cable
check the flap for easy movement
check cable for easy movement
fix the issue

resume.
