Finally put the Cruiser to work today. Friend of mine needed a dead orange tree pulled out. The goal was to use the pto on it to make sure it was working, but ran into a few problems. There was no tension on the line and had it properly engaged, although I kept thinking it wasn't....had my buddy get in and I looked underneath to see if the shaft was at least spinning. The sheer pin had shattered into a bunch of pieces before there was any tension...but it was spinning and engaged, so I know it works...just need a new/bigger pin.
We ended up pulling it out the old fashioned way and the cruiser did great. The root structure doesn't look big, but it took a lot of brute force and hard pulling both ways...lockers would have been nice.
I have the Cooper st maxx tires and the grip they have is very impressive. I was digging holes like nothing with them.
