You have it correct. The Pyle powers the radio and other items such as the cigar lighter through a separate fuse panel. The DROK handles low current constant 12V needs which for now is only the radio memory. Depending upon what I choose for gauges, it may also provide constant hot for gauge memory.

The wiring diagram PDF on my initial electrical post should clarify the setup (post 82).

This one does not require the optional halon system ;)

So far so good. Drove it to work and to a charity bicycle drive this evening (and got interviewed on air about the truck .... Prolly unintelligible over the 3b clattering away at idle speed). The light is holding up. Pictures do not do it justice for the brightness. I may have to start putting some SPF 100 on my head ;)

Fer hell's sake dude. Tin foil hat.......Quick 'n easy....

What? My brain is scrambled enough already. I don't need to wear a bowl antenna to allow the three letter agencies to beam more crap directly into it ;) :rimshot:

Phares, I'll be glad to help ya

Used the 73 to deliver two bikes to a local Children's Chartiy - Kids First of the Carolinas

Sam's the Man!

You did good .....
Is that a street light or the Gen 2 dome light, lighting the street?

Good for you Sam! Do the graphics on the bike match the 73?! :)

One of the two bikes was a close match for the graphics, the other not so much. ;)

Given the number of pictures taken and questions asked about the truck, I was surprised there were not more on the site. I was interviewed on air about the truck ... I tried to do the 70 series guys/gals in the US of A proud!

On edit: seeing as the event was about children who would otherwise go without at Christmas, I surely understand the choice of photo!

It looks lonely there ..... You should be ashamed.

I just got to work before the BMW crowd in Charlotte ;)

One of these is not like the others!

A couple of years ago, someone in my office building was running an LC export business focusing on 80s and 100s. One weekend, 8-10 rigs would show up and a few days later a car hauler would arrive and take them to the port....

Edit: clarifying this. Not in my company but someone in the same office building ....
