I would cook the old cable in grease and then put it in storage in-case you kink the newbie. :)
1 wire brush + solvent + lubricant + a ton of patience (there was over a 150' of cable) + proper re-spooling = this.

I hope you relaxed with a carton of Fosters after the winch re-spool.

That's a great shot! I even see a little dirt on the tires...
Cow sh*t ..... Not dirt.
That things smells so bad my wife won't let me park it in the garage

I will wash it when hunting season is over. Washing the Cruiser during hunting season is bad juju. :)

At least the smell keeps to "peepers" away from the truck.

looks nice, i love that top on it.
seeds, river, not really a good idea unless you are going to back up the river. the force of the water will just inbed the seeds further.
maybe clean and try spray silicone that way you can wash them off next time easier??

Thanks for the compliment and I assume you are referring to the Intercooler placement with the river / seed comment.
Rest assured the closest this truck will ever get to a river will be the bridge that crosses over it. The Intercooler is completely boxed in ( totally sealed from beneath by a custom made skid plate that extends aft of the radiator and the bumper itself completely encloses the top. The removable wire mesh screen is more than adequate to keep grass seeds and debris out of the Intercooler. I've driven the truck through waist deep grass continuously for the last several weeks and upon close inspection have yet to see a grass seed make it through the mesh. Is the Intercooler placement perfect .... probably not, but is it nearly ideal considering the constraints associated with this particular truck. ( constraints such as radiator, AC condenser placement).

Thankfully I had lockers and a snorkel this morning. :)

Looks like you need more lift. Maybe a spring-over ;)

35s, 4.88s, ditch the intercooler and go to a 15,000 Warn planetary.

Ditch the air to air and go with ice-bath WTA intercooler mounted to the roof.

Or called in the bridging unit.....:hillbilly:
