After watching the mirror glass vibrate since I bought the BJ74, I finally got around the correcting the issue. It's solid as a rock now.

Details? The glass in my truck's mirrors shakes so much I can only vaguely tell what's behind me. Granted I'm usually just looking for the CHP and there is less less risk of a speeding ticket in the BJ74 than in other vehicles...

Step 1) An engineering order was drawn up.
Step 2) The plans were drawn using the engineers CAD system.
Step 3) The plans were distributed for bids.
Step 4) The parts were assembled using a number of 'MUD vendors.














Step 5) (This is the important one)
Steps 1 through 4 were ignored and a couple of semi-rigid blocks of foam were inserted behind the glass, top and bottom.
$.50 worth of foam is all it takes. A "Nerf Ball" would probably work.
