i took your advice and bought the LED inserts from pfranleds and they arrived this week.
i took a gamble since he doesn't sell them for the 70 series interior lights and ordered the 60 series ones.
if they were 1 row shorter they would fit perfectly but as it is they are BRIGHT.
i will let Paul know the issue and if he wants then he can modify the 60 series accordingly and have a new market for his product. quick turn around time and pleasant to deal with. i recommend him.

next i required a fuse box for the main battery and leads.
a location found
the fuse box arrived from BlueSea
a mount made up

change of plans, the e/locker switches were moved from the lower factory panel to the main panel. cleaner, more room for the indicator and keeps the after market wiring with easy access.

the rear speaker/amp wiring cleaned up and tagged

the fuel spout assembled and ready for install

the last of the PC went in for sand blasting and PC, the steel parts turned out excellent but all the aluminum were ... s***ty. Scott is redoing the aluminum parts this week.

we test 26 wiring functions and still have more to do. we also need to test all the factory items since we have no idea as to whether they work or not due to the length of time this truck has sat and the number of other hands have been wrenching on the truck.

turn them like a race car---so the ideal reading is always at the 12:00 position!

well, the difference between normal factory lighting (new) and LED lighting.

remove skin

start install rope, nice and tight. real nice rope, ties, ends with kickass thimble ...

tried the Factor55 thimble on the rear bumper ...
nice quality workmanship
but
i didn't like the way it stuck out
so
PC a heavy duty clevis and it folds flat against the skin, this way you don't hit your knee or shin when working with the rear doors open. the clevis has been dipped in rubber coating to help prevent scratching.

wired up the 5" reverse lights
coupled with the factory ones and the upper LED lighting
there shouldn't be any reason not to see what is behind you

installed the rope on the front summer bumper winch
had the factor55 thimble PC to match the truck trim and installed, it looks much better up front since the bumper upper guard sticks out.

watch out deer, you be going under instead of into the truck with this bumper.

next, installing the floor insulation.
i tested this by sticking the insulation into water for 3 hours, it didn't soak up any water
tested in freezer stuck to metal and thawed and repeated. stayed adhered.
... so it should be good for this application
cut rough size
place and measure and feel to locate wire retainer, bolt holes, mounts ... do not remove wax paper yet. once down it does not come back up.

remove the wax paper once you are sure, best to pull back from center and leave majority on, then once centered properly remove as you proceed.

then run wires for seat warmers, factory harness and aluminum tape over the wires. this stuff sticks like a bugger.
the wires will not be moving.

continue installing the interior
new from Japan center rubber flooring with wires accessible
rear heater testing for location of holes etc.
