todds truck 098.jpg

gasket is there and properly installed and torqued to spec
good try though

Seal not deep enough?

Sent from my iPad using IH8MUD... fun starts where the road ends

nope, seal installed correctly with lithium grease (still showing) for prerun lubrication
good try though

How about the 2 slots on the pan side of the seal retainer

properly sealed as per manual
good try though

i took one look and knew the problem ... think obvious vrs hidden.

Can you tell me if the "extra" hole at the end of the crank is connected to inside of the engine?, does it have to be plug or it is for dowel pin?...i don't think there is any lub oil necessary at this point!

Seal on backwards or seals missing from left and right of bolted on piece above pan? Just a shot in the dark. :D

the pilot bearing fits inside the crank and is sealed by the crank
it is for the input shaft of the tranny ...
Hope This Helps.

seal facing the right direction
the holes above the pan beside the seal housing are sealed properly

good try.
