It was good to see the hj today, hope you made it home OK.

Great seeing you guys too! Talk about a test for the troopie; 400 miles all in the same day. Factor in the decent grades coming from Macon GA to darn near NC. I did not have to downshift one :steer:single time. To say that I'm pleased with the 2h would be an understatement.

Well... I guess this is progress. I know that I'm good at putting the cart before the horse. I mean there are several things that this truck needs. But, I decided on an easy one-day project. Painting my hardtop. I sanded, cleaned, primered, and painted my troopie hardtop. Best 75 bucks I've spent in a while.

After I sanded the top with 100 grit, I washed the top and let it dry. Next I stayed on a few cans of primer. After that dried, I went to a local auto paint store. He found the cygness white code and mixed me up some and put it in four cans. Then I applied two even coats. I think it looks pretty darn good for a few hours of work.

The results.... still wet but I'm really please and the truck looks better. Notice the cool sor fog lamps..
