Time to sand it all down and bring it back to showroom glean. 😂

I think there is a bit of sanding and then a bit of “fogging” in paint in those areas.

It’s near the paint shop now.

Body shop working on a Saturday.

Taping it for lizard skin and raptor liner. Jambs are basically ready to be shot color.

Inside lizard skin first. Then underside raptor liner, so any blow thru the bolt holes or anywhere doesn't show up on the finished bottom side.

Once the undercoat is done, final mask for paint, (jambs are 80% at this point) then final paint.

So the end result is once paint is laid down, no debris or undercoat on/in the paint, pull the tape and nice edges, it’s done. No touchups.

Tons of time spent masking and unmasking thru the process.

Taping for sealer, then lizard skin. Lizard skin applied properly is a 3 day process: 24-36 hours between coats. Sealer goes down, has a flash window. Lizard skin has two coats per ceramic or sound control. Simple stuff, water based, stir it, pour it out of the gallon, shoot , repeat.
