Some goodies arrived from Spector O.R. Shifter and transfer boots, bolts and bracket. Grommets for A/C drain outlets, misc firewall grommets and some bolts. I like those kind of packages.

Worked on taking apart and cleaning, striping seat hardware and mounting brackets today.

Finished product. No rattle can here... I like how the base PPG paint strays. I am by far no expert, but it’s good practice.

Here is some before and after pics. Finally got my gas tank cover painted. Used cruiser Corp rattle can paint. Matches ok. But who knows what actual color it was painted..lol
Removed seats as well. Cool Cruiser seat covers. Just need the headrest covers now.
Also finally replaced all the rear brakes. Drums, pads, cylinders.
It took 2 flipping days to bleed the system. Not fun, let me tell ya.

My steering was way to sloppy. Bought a gearbox and the rag joint. Cleaned and painted. Also painted the heat shield.
Drives MUCH better!
Also installed the intake breather and the hose from racer. Just need a clamp...
My next battle is going to be the rain gutter.
It’s toast! And leaks like crazy.
Anyone have good luck with cool cruisers rain gutters?
Or other options.

Have not been online for a while. Few updates to the truck.
33” BFG’s and a Hanson Bumper.
Purchased a OEM rollbar and short jump seats that needed paint and cushions.
Cleaned up the seat covers and used vinyl black paint. Worked out really good.

Installed Hanson bumper. Love the look. I think it really makes a difference.

Finally redid the jump seats and roll bar. Also added some LED headlights with DLR. The headlights are 10x brighter.
Ahhh Lake Louis. Heaven on earth. Should be on everyone’s bucket list.

Finally got the exhaust replaced. They did a great job. Kept it along the frame. Was able to mount the skid plate too.

Ok...I need some help. I have been putting off fixing the exhaust leak at the manifold where the flap is. Today I decided to replace it. I just swapped out the old manifold assembly that I had from the other engine. It does not have this flap. So took everything off, just unbolted the carb and carb plate and sat it over to side of engine didn’t unhook anything cables, choke etc...
Replaced manifold, slapped carb back on.
Actually noticed the gasket had a tear in it but didn’t have a replacement so just put it back on.
Went to start it and it’s spitting and spuddering like it was out of time...
WTF, could it be the gasket?
I’m a little stumped here....
