We had like 8 inches of rain in 2 hours today, so I was able to get out to the barn to look at the rig.

Looks like both the starter and ignition wiring is fried.

Going to peel back the loom to make sure I have all the damage and just put in new wiring. As much as I hate wiring, this truck has forced me to step outside my comfort zone.
 
Prepare for the worst Drew. That wire is in the core of the main trunk.

Honestly, you will be far less frustrated in the long run if you unplug all the switches, detach the cowl vent mechanism, and drop out the loom for repairs on a sheet of plywood.
