Trying to register the 69 I got from Maine, typical Ca dmv issues- even though this vehicle is smog exempt in Ca., there is a space on dmv form for checking off if vehicle had a emissions sticker under hood, my others do, but none on this vehicle, they want a letter from Toyota Corporate stating there was no sticker installed when new or that they are no longer available.
Does anyone with a 69 have a sticker under their hood from that year?

According to ToyoDIY.com, the emissions sticker for a 69 pig was/is "not applicable".

74519PLATE, FUEL CAUTION
Not applicable
74533PLATE, TRANSFER CAUTION
74531-601003-SPEED, MAGNET FRONT DRIVE1
74531-601203-SPEED, FLOOR SHIFT1
74548PLATE, BODY CAUTION
Not applicable
74556APLATE, EXHAUST EMISSION DATA
Not applicable

I wonder if that is because it from out of state? DMV didnt even want to look at my Pig when I bought it. 1970 and pre smog.

When I was titling some military trailers and didn't get the answer I wanted from one license office, I'd go to a different one.

Different office = different answer.
Yup, what I do as well.
I wonder if just a print out of the parts catalog showing NLA would satisfy the CARB enough to check off that box...
Or show them this thread

It's so crazy it just might work
