Finished up the last of the 1st wall last night.

Saved my progress so I could get a nice reveal on this, have to keep it interesting for anyone looking. Sliced up a 4x8 sheet of the ply I'm using on the walls and stained it. The driver side wall is going to be a cool accent wall with 4 colored planks.

I've got 4 colors that I'm using a white, red/brown, blue, and grey. Put some wall panels up in places that won't be visible to reduce the effort on this accent wall.

Finished product, it was like 6pm when I wrapped up so way past dark here and I couldn't get a good photo.

Made a ton of progress this week. First couple panels on the back end, then the next couple panels on the back end.

Progressed up onto the ceiling, then finished off the front end. tried to do some wood strips on the lower section but they couldn't hold the bend without breaking. Ended up just using some scrap plastic material, just to hold the insulation in place. That will all be behind counters anyway so I'm not worried about looking good.

Threw a first coat of white stain on everything that will be visible.

Looks great. What did you use to coat it?
Looked at a few different things, wanted to make it waterproof and tough to handle dirt and rock and things in the storage area and walking on it and the dog in the floor area. Ended up using a garage floor coating coating kit and just left the colored chips out of it.

Cleaned up the old ceiling vent and got it reinstalled. Then started on windows! Took me a bit to get the first on in there right but went a little smoother the second time.

It's probably a 2 person job to hold the window in place and get the first few screws in but I made it work. Two windows in and 2 more waiting to be put in. Unfortunately the last 2 showed up broken and I have to wait on new ones to be shipped out this week.

Built the cabinet over the bed this weekend.

Still need to put some doors on it but got it framed and skinned. My wife taped some color samples up to see what she likes for the outside.

You're doing a great job. In Montana you can probably paint it any color you like. Here in AZ you pick the most reflective color available or you bake. And you still bake anyway. Our friends with a dark brown trailer from up North can't cool it down in the summer unless they find some trees for shade. Even with A/C.

Yeah I am a little worried about that, when its like 90 in July it could get pretty hot, it gets cool at night though. I think the top will still be white though which should help in the midday hours.

Been working on framing in the bed platform, need to build the drawer in while I have open access. Trying to figure out the back section and if it is hinged for access or not still.

I would not waste any available space. Build a lid or twin lids for that section. In fact, I would add lids over the wheel wells too.
The rear area behind the wheel wells is accessible from the outside hatch. The question is really just do I also want it to be accessible from the inside.

The space between the wheel wells will be a large drawer. I have been thinking about how to make small cubby spaces on the front or top of the wheel wells as well.

A tip out storage in front of the wheel wells would be slick.

Have all the insulation cut and fit for the bed platform. Have a little bit of additional caulking and stuff to do in the storage area and I can drop the last couple pieces in place. I also framed up 2 openings which will have hatches into the space behind my pull out drawer.

Then I built there 2 fold out cubbies for some additional storage.

Test fit the mattress so I could do some things around it while I wait for my drawer slides to show up. Built the drawer for under the bed which the slides are for.

Got the access panels cut out and cleaned up for extra storage under the bed.

Built a little recessed shelf/storage spot to set stuff when you are laying in bed and put in two multi-port usb chargers which will eventually get hooked up.
