Cleaned up this Oberg Tattle Tale filter. Hoping to find a way to use it in my build. I have seen people use these for Diesel fuel systems as well. Thanks to @65swb45 for selling it to me.

I am thinking about converting the front steering to what the early Toyota Pickups used. Have any of you seen this done before?
I can use one of these Ram Horn arms and simplify the steering quite a bit. Wondered what the downside would be.

I figure since I am going with the City Racer Electric Power Steering that seats directly into a manual steering box, there should be no reason that this would not work, but I am sure somebody smarter than me could chime in.

does that arm replace the center arm and relay rod? The drag link connects directly to it?

Yes. On the early Toyota trucks there was no center arm. I looked at the setup from one of them and it looks so clean and simple, which is why i started thinking about it.

Things are admittedly moving slow as I figure out the rear linkage. Just trying to make sure I do it right the first time. Here is the latest setup to run the rear differential to the frame and eliminate a sway bar in the process.

Yep. Building as a daily driver but strong enough to handle some decent off road stuff.

Search 3 link wishbone. It's not as good as some other options for off-road as you noted.

Anybody on here seen one of these before.? I got it in a box of parts that I purchased from a guy overseas. Was this a non-US thing or did somebody just create a one-off custom. Either way I like it. Might use it in my build.

Added 3 layers of 6oz fiberglass to my top for some added stiffness. Amazing how much stiffness it actually added. Had my surfboard shaper buddy help me.

A couple of you have asked how much weight this added. The top is approximately 3.5 square yards and the fiberglass is 6oz/square yard, so I figure about 4 lbs for the fiberglass and another 4-5 lbs for the resin, although it is much lighter when cured. I would say well under 10 lbs total.
