Rides a little stiff but I have about 1300 miles to put on it over the holidays that might settle it a little. Still have the metal tech rear upper and lower links that need to be installed later and the suspension phase of this build should be done. Then just need lockers and skid plates.

Looks great!!! One day, I will have a Hundy like this. :D

The preceding are two of the greatest (and weightiest) compliments I've seen. You do have an awesome 100.

00n8 I replaced all four spheres today. Flushed all the AHC fluid through twice. I can believe how smooth it rides now. We'll see how long it holds up now. I enjoyed meeting you and getting to see first hand what a great project you have built. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the delivery too!

Great to meet you and get those globes into someone's hands that cold use them.

On the way back from Dallas my exhaust sprung a leak. Luckily I have an EMS cat back and mid pipes nearly ready to be installed. Also have those metal tech upper and lower rear control links ready to get up in so hopefully this week or next both get done.

I hate to say this but "Glad to hear about your exhaust leak"

That way you can let us know about the NO CAT mid pipes and ems system!

:bounce:

Got the metal tech rear links installed and the ems cutback installed. My ome muffler was toast. I think my cats are toast too but I don't have the mid pipes yet to install them. The sound of the cat back is pretty cool but I'm sure I'll end up dynamatting the rear of the vehicle to quite it down some.

Found a stock LX to park next to this morning and shot a comparison photo.

Probably the angle, but it's amazing how much narrower yours looks.

Was thinking the same thing.
Probably shrunk in the car wash?

Got the mid pipes with no cats installed today and took about a 20 min drive up and down the mountains here. No issues with CEL thus far.

Exhaust System sounds awesome IMO

How much did it change the exhaust note? I got your PM. Look for a reply in the morning

Definately louder, sounds like a beefy truck now. That being said I had a blown cat/midpipes before so instead of sounding sick it sounds mean. I like it.

Great news!

Do you have the CATback also?

Yes, I have the Doug Thorley Headers, EMS no cat midpipes and EMS cat back.

Wow! Ok, now we're talkin'

How does it do at like 80 MPH going down the road? Sound and performance wise.

How about driving for economy around town, sound and performance wise?

Do the NO CAT pipes really loud it up a lot?

Any way you can get a recording? You're the first one to have this combo I think.

Here is a video clip of the new exhaust (Doug Thorley header, EMS no cat midpipes, EMS cat back, no resonators)

Here's a clip driving around the neighborhood

And here is a clip getting up to highway speeds, you can hear the high pitch whine of the supercharger in this clip

UPDATED 4/7/2013
This clip is of the same setup, Doug Thorley headers, EMS midpipes with two resonators in each, EMS catback with glasspack in the tailpipe.

You have just gone to the top of my Xmas mailing list!

What Camera? It picked up the sound pretty well.

Can you get one more if you get the chance?

Like driving around very easy on the throttle like you were trying to max mpg at low speeds and at hwy speeds.

Cause I know you ain't got nuthin' better to do!

:bounce:

EDIT: I was just listening to these again. Looks like you got what I was looking for pretty much.

Nice!
You would keep on driving with that sound.
My LX doesn't really sound like a V8, only when I really boot it.

Starting too think its a little loud. Going to evaluate getting a resonator put into the tailpipe.
