I am supercharged. I have Doug Thorley headers. And EMS mid pipes with two resonators in each. No cats. EMS catback the rest of he way out with the Moroso spiral muffler at the tailpipe.

Anyway you could post a Video of how she sounds now?

Going to try the Bedrug for awhile and see if I like it.

I need to find a better way to keep the bedrug down in the back. Maybe adhesive spray...

Check post 137 for some new sound clips. The mount holding my iphone was rattling for some reason and it doesn't pick up a noticeable difference, but I can tell a dramatic difference sitting in the seat.

Awesome update!

I'm willing to bet in the back of your brain someplace you are wondering if taking the resonators out of the midpipes would be positive or negative?

I've been tryin' to avoid those resonators like the plague!

p.s. my Dog goes nutz when he hears the Supercharger whine!

5% tint all around and 50% on front windshield. Hopefully that eases some of this hot New Mexico weather.

Now hopefully I don't get pulled over.

Rolled over to 160000 this weekend

Pretty bold move on that 50% tint on the windshield. I'd be terrified of the Atlanta cops puling me over then forcing me to remove that after searching my entire vehicle.

Looks good though :)

I have the exact same tint setup, never had an issue with Atlanta PD. I've been pulled over several times and never had a cop notice the windshield.

How hard is it to see out at night? Thinking of tinting mine darker

I have a hard enough time seeing in the dark/rain/fog of the PNW without further obstruction! Not to mention coming down a dark trail. And Not to be too negative, but have you thought about how this will play out with a jury some day if you run over someone, regardless of who was in the right? Does look great though, just not safe/practical IMO.

I don't have an issue with visibility at night. I honestly prefer the tinted windshield at night. It knocks down some of the glare from oncoming traffic.

Maybe in the northwest. Our nights are generally clear, and when it's raining there are so any accidents your not going anywhere fast. 50% on the windshield does appear dark, but behind the wheel most people don't even notice it.

I did get pulled over after this but it was for the drivers side front window. I ended up switching it to 20% tint on the front windows, still have the 5% the rest of the way around and the 50% up front. The cop didn't even notice the front wind shield. The sun is so strong out here in the southwest it's absolutely required IMHO.

I use those too. Sunglasses don't help with the heat inside the vehicle and the direct sunlight.

I'm perfectly happy with the result. If you guys want to wear sunglasses too I'm all for it. Your mileage may vary. This works for me.

New roof rack installed last weekend, found it used locally for a good price.

Tongue inserted in cheek sir. I applaud your tinting efforts.

I don't notice it at all, any passenger I've ever had has not noticed it or mentioned it. The cop who got me for my front side windows didn't notice it.

The tint mostly just help reduce glare and improves the interior temps with the UV protection. As RedRob mentions for the sun I still use sunglasses.

Planning some major front suspension and steering work. The alignment and wobble up front is un bearable now. Steering bushings are slop, upper and lower control arm bushings are slop. Tie rods are shot. I'm looking at the Slee SPC upper control arms. I already have new bushings for the lower control arms. I didn't see any aftermarket lowers so I guess the Oem with new bushings is all I can do. I'm hunting around for upgrades to the steering rack if there are any. Anything else I can do to fix front end wobble? Wheel bearings maybe?

My shopping list:

From obtusa.com
SPF2987K - Steering Rack & Pinion Mount Bush - Power Steering
Item# TY 03$82.44 USD1$82.44 USD
SPF0280K - Sway Bar End Link Bushing
Item# TY 07$18.84 USD1$18.84 USD

From Slee:
1998-07 Land Cruiser / LX470
Upper Control Arms
Part: SPC-25455 -$560.00 Pair

Still looking around for new tie rods options and trying to decide if I want to just replace the steering rack bushings for now or just go ahead and replace the steering rack too.

I already have lower control arm bushings I got from Cruiser Dan a year or so ago.
