I’m about to order a bunch of parts from Toyota to replace my radiator. Other than the Radiator, cap, 3 main hoses, thermostat, and t-stat gasket, what other parts should I consider replacing “since I’m in there”? Thanks!
Found this stored away in the attic in and old box along with the original radiator. Just wondering if the tool roll was something Landcruiser came with or approximately how old something like this could be? Also I noticed the original radiator has an extension for the drain petcock anybody know...
I have this cool and unique Factory 40-series cold weather radiator flap that came on my 1984 BJ42.
Only removing it because I need the space for an intercooler. It comes with the mounting brackets and the little tab to guide the pull cable.
Asking $200 plus shipping from Cincinnati, OH...
I had to replace radiator (lifetime warranty) and I took to the same guy who installed one 4 years ago. Next day I started the truck and noticed airbag light is on. I am sure mechanic had to remove the battery in order to install radiator. Now my question is, why airbag light came on...
Radiator support rod. $15 plus shipping
Fuse block from a 78 fj40. Clean with no corosion but appears to have been sandblasted so plastic is not shiny. $10 plus shipping.
Was out messing with my truck, still trying to solve my P0171 issue, anyways, started to tear down the radiator lines and saw this hose, I recently replace the one right in front of it, but looks like I might be leaking from this one too, what is this called? Size etc? Biggest leak is from the...
1983 FJ40 with AC. The union pipe has a bracket that looks like it's attached to the motor mount. There looks to be a rubber fitting pressed in to maybe the motor mount that the bracket mounts to. The attachment broke. What part or parts would I be looking for?
Hey guys, so yeah, looks like I've got the radiator crack, so I'm going go ahead and replace it, but I wanted to make sure this is the correct part number for the updated version of the radiator: Toyota 16400-50384, for a 2013 Land Cruiser.
I just hit 109,000 miles so from what I'm reading, I...
Sons car overheated on the interstate last Friday. It sounds like a radiator hose or the radiator itself failed. He's 12 hours away from me, but says it still starts. All kinds of misfires and engine lights though. 240,000 miles. No rust. Transmission has been shifting fine. He just had tcase...
Pulled from a 1965 many, MANY years ago. This core has the dimpled top tank and wrap around mounting bracket common to the early rigs. The inlet and outlet will obviously need to be replaced. My local radiator guy has never had a problem doing that.
$100 for the core. $100 for the core support...
I went out to my car today to fired up, and got a “check AHC system” message, and a dead battery. Once I started taking away the engine, cover to get a jumpstart, I noticed that there was residue on engine components, and an indication that it was coming from the top seal of the radiator...

For all the threads about failed radiators (and finding the best replacement), I'm wondering how many original radiators are still functioning just fine.
I'm about to hit 190,000 miles on my '07 LX, which I keep up pretty well (all fluids changed regularly etc.). Radiator is original and looks...
Before I start tearing things apart I’ve been trying to pin point the leak but haven’t been able.
My guess is the radiator itself that leaks once it gets to operating temps. Cause I found the leak after months and it only needed a gallon.
Who has the best OEM prices? Or a link to a decent...
Hey Mudders - Feel free to tell me I'm overthinking this, it's actually what I'm hoping for! Before a camping trip last weekend I popped the hood on my 2014 and noticed the coolant reservoir was empty. Then I did what any reasonable Land Cruiser owner would do and searched this forum and...
Upper radiator hose blew out today. She's in a hotel parking lot, and can't be there the week it'll take to get a hose kit from SOR etc. Can I go to NAPA and assemble the 4 necessary hoses? (F engine is F540328, assuming 68-76 will work) I'd like to replace them all now. If so, which am I...
Well i was working on my truck today, and almost snapped off that plastic bypass nipple coming out of my radiator! This is a known problem that i have been meaning to make some type of protective guard for, but like most things i have been putting it off,
Well not anymore, i made a bridge...
Had a mishap on my way to work driving up a really steep mountain. My radiator in my 95 series blew a hole. Fortunately it is not a head gasket. I am in the U.S. and I am wondering if I could use a 3rd gen 4runner radiator as a replacement in my KZJ95. I really wouldn't want to have to get one...
