Hi can anyone point me towards a thread (or provide the info) where someone has converted a 1kzte to a 1kzt? I am putting the 1kzte in my 70 to replace the 2lt so need it to all be mechanical.

Does a 1973 Toyota OEM fuel pump work fine on a 1981 2F? I am rebuilding a 2f and my existing mechanical fuel pump on my F works fine and would prefer to save a few bucks and transplant it to the 2f.

I am replacing the oil pan gasket and was wondering if i should change out the oil pump. i do have really low oil pressure at 700 rpm. it does increase with a rev of the engine. like all these 2 f engines. will a new pump help at low idle? thanks

I have a new OEM pump and high pressure line. I watched the YouTube video, read the 'mud thread on replacing it, and have everything loose. I can't get it to snake out the bottom and realize that even if I did get it out, Im not sure I can get it back in correctly without messing something up...

Went to check my fluids today and noticed the power steering reservoir cap was loose. Unscrewed it and saw a spring chilling in the hole of the reservoir. I assume my cap is falling apart? If so, I'll just go get a new one but want to make sure I'm not losing my mind first.

Hooking the A/C components back up but the smog pump is not in the best shape. Any alternatives to putting an idler wheel in there to adjust the tension on the belt without using the smog pump as an idler?

(Toypta 3b)When I go to turn the key I can't hear fuel pump (like I usually can) and the engine is reluctant to start and will stop if im not giving any throttle. I tried to take the fuel filter thing off but am not sure how to take it off. Any ideas on either? Cheers

I am pulling all of the smog components off of my 1987 FJ60. I cut this aftermarket cat off and it has the themosensor retrofitted to it. I'm not sure if it works or not. My truck operated like it should. The flange is still present on the thermosensor and my guess is that you could remove it...
