Finally installed the cable and pedal to match the Weber carb.
Original carb and cleaner set up were long gone when i picked her up in 2009. Had a small Carter on there.
Throttle had to push/pull rods and linkages and so was a lot of slop in gas pedal. Enough to make it very difficult to...
Bought it , plugged it in and barely used it and I liked it. It really made a big difference in pedal response both on and off road. But, ModdedbyPhil came to town and he installed his tune so I no longer need it.

There seems to be more bikers on here than I thought. Post up your bikes. Here are my two:
I do not normally ride with the seat that low, I was riding a little downhill earlier.:D

Was going to replace the clutch master cylinder on my '83 FJ60, and got about 3 minutes into it before getting stuck. The clutch pedal pin won't come out of the pedal. It's not rusted, it's not frozen, everything very clean, I can actually turn it in place with almost no resistance. But, it...
Hey all,
I can't believe I am going to ask this dumb question but does any one have any photos on how to install the drivers side kick panel and dead pedal? I found the part where the panel clips in to the firewall with that special clip but I can't tell if the dead pedal goes under the kicker...
I have a new build with a new OEM clutch master and secondary cylinders, stainless hard line, and braided flex line. There are no leaks.
I've bled the system a few times following everything I know, plus the Haynes manual, until there there are absolutely no bubbles - just clean fluid. The...
Anyone seen this? I've bled the brakes several times now and it works great. I can lock the 35s up with (some) effort.... but a weird thing started happening. If I depress the pedal, it will engage about 25% down, then if I lift up the pedal just enough to release pressure, then press it again...
Hello mudders. I have very specific brake issue on my 62. I ran into the back of an F250 yesterday with my wife in the car. Fortunately it was fairly slow, 15mph roughly at impact, down from maybe 40mph. We are fine, but im embarrassed. I have an ARB bumper that destroyed the trucks rear...
I am looking for a picture of this part #21 in the attached schematic. This is for a '73 FJ40. Spector does not have a pic of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I believe that this only fit '72-73 but I could be mistaken.
Here is the link to SOR - Land Cruiser Accelerator Linkage &...
I just had the master cylinder replaced by a local shop and now the LX pulls a little to the right when braking. I'm assuming that there's air in the lines and was curious if It's best to bleed the lines at the master cylinder as well as wheels.
TIA
Hi All - I have an issue that the dealer can't figure out on a brand new 2023 4Runner (<2k miles).
There is an intermittent gas pedal vibration/sensation when moving the steering wheel (even the slightest). The problem is that this issue comes and goes and the dealer is having trouble...
Trying to confirm my suspicions and thought I’d check with the pros on the forum incase there’s something I haven’t thought of.
I have a 73 FJ40 with OEM power brakes.
Under formal driving conditions the brake pedal is very soft “squishy” on the first press and then you can pump it a few...
I'm looking to buy a 13 LX570 with what seems to be a braking issue.
Whenever the brake pedal is pressed while the truck is moving there is vibration/shudder throughout the entire truck and steering wheel. the sensation is almost like the calipers are clamping then letting go in quick order...
Hello everyone,
I have had my 74 FJ for a few months now. Since I purchased it I have been dealing with a very stiff clutch pedal. It was barely driven for a year or two before I purchased it so I hoped it would loosen up after driving it a while. That hasnt happened so Im wondering if there...
Purging leftovers from the H55F manual transmission conversion.
Parts were sourced from around the world. Assumed that everything is fully-functional. Used parts are untested unless noted otherwise. New parts are unused and OEM.
Would love to sell everything at once, but that is...
2013 sequoia - the gas pedal strikes me as being way too sensitive - getting cramp in the shin from trying to hold my foot off. hit big swells, with the spongy suspension i inadvertently hit the gas
anyone know a DIY to increase friction?
I'm not sure I have my linkage connected correctly or I have a wrong part or two.
It seems like the linkage to gas pedal rod is on a pretty good angle as well as the linkage to carb rod. It seems like the ball on the gas pedal would be better aligned if it were on the other side. It's a 5/1977...
Hi guys.
This is my first technical post so far, so please go easy if I miss any details and tell me to provide if needed.
I have just bought a 2017 Land Cruiser 200 4.6L V8 Petrol 6 speeds atomatic (UAE imported) which has only reached around 1000 Miles now, have the engine oil changed and...
