I came up the 395 to Mono Lake. Then we took Tioga up towards Yosemite. Great drive. Mono like is not real exiting, however there are tons of Forestry roads and dirt trails in the immediate area to explore, which we we did. Mono Lake is a real pretty lake though.
Visited the Ghost Town of Bodie, CA and Mono Lake area over the weekend with my 12 year old son. Great times. Cool thing was that the Bodie state park was open for extended hours, so went during the daylight and then returned later the same night. Pretty sweet. Also went up into parks and...
Finally got around to flush and fill on the radiator. Also replaced the radiator hoses and clamps. Heater tees and all associated hoses and clamps. I know the breeze clamps are over kill, but I like them and I already had some on hand. I used some new hose clamp pliers to remove the old stuff...
I got a couple sweet coffee table books delivered yesterday. They are used but in like new condition.
I will be using these to cram for the following PM items this weekend:
1. Heater tees and all related hoses and clamps.
2. Water pump.
3. Timing belt.
4. Serpentine belt.
Replaced the cabin filters and air filter. They were about 14 months and 30k miles old. Air filter was not super dirty, but the cabin filter was unexpectedly gross. Next job up: Timing belt, water pump, thermostat, radiator hoses, heater hoses and heater tees (all with breeze clamps).
