Goal is to take a true survivor to as new condition in 3 weeks.

Tore it apart last night and sent everything to the media and platers.

Adjusted carb to altitude, its 4,000 feet lower at my house.

Yes she is 100% freakishly original............

On a side note, the dark spot you see where the apron bumpers go is glue. He relocated the cushion over an inch to attach a small CB mount in the threaded hole. The glue is heard to get off but it will.

Pulled the rad screen off as well and I can't believe how the rad looks.......WOW.

All the harware you see in the rig is the original stuff, still bright yellow from the factory.......

Dibs on the used parts!

Awesome!

I'd pay to see detail photos of the splash guards, the heat shield on the steering box, the muffler and pipe routing, the carb fan and all it's connections, and whatever my truck doesn't have any more.

Is this a late 78 build? I notice it looks like it has the grey jump seats and front door panels like a 79 but has a black roll bar like a 78. Also, why is everything so pristine stock except the brake hardlines coming off the master? I bet there is a story behind that.

He (2nd owner) did not know it was not stock. I asked believe me! I have no answer as I have looked.........No longer available from toyota and I am looking for some I can have restored or I will buy the SS kit from www.TLC4x4.com

It is a late 77 build date and the jump seats are the correct to 78, the 79 become more greenish with a walrus grain and these are crush grain.

Door panels are correct to the pre 79 and are darker than the later models.

I swear its smarter than I am...........It's new 8.1 MP and a pain in the arse.....Every pic looks like another color unless your outside.

Did you look under the gas-tank yet? Every one I've see had all kinds of funky sh#@ under there. I'd give it a look once you get the fuel level in the tank low enough.

That Cruiser is something else - thanks for the pictures.

Check to see if it has a setting for color balance. It will make a big difference if you're under flourescent lights.

Also, force the flash for everything. It's the color of outside.

If I use the flash the shutter speed is fast and they colors blend, if no flash it has to be on a tripod or its blurry.............. what happened to the cannon 110??
